Having several friends that live or lived in St. James, I was well aware of the super nice homes and courses (and not to forget to mention the great clubhouse that has such yummy food.) I drove to check out this lot, I couldn't believe it was available at such a great price and the neighbors are so friendly and inviting. One neighbor said his home was his second home that became his long term home and remote office sometime in March and that golf never seems to get old playing all the courses. Another neighbor gave me a friendly waved as he got his mail and another one came a spoke a while about how long he had lived there and loved living in the neighborhood. I felt a part of a community and yet I didn't own anything. They all made sure to say if I needed anything, had more questions, just ask. When i walked the lot to get a feel for it I really loved this gorgeous holly tree that I just know in the winter will spring full of color. But what I didn't see at first was hidden in the back of the lot (a full lot point to point pond. I could just envision sitting in the morning time watching ducks on the pond or the folks on the 10th tee and relaxing to the solitude that would be my back yard. It was quaint meeting of my intrigue of this lot for only $59,500 that brought me to see it. And I loved it. The owner is a friend of mine. He loves real estate like I do. We enjoy talking for sometimes hours about prices and his skills of analysis I learn something new every day. He said he had enjoyed the ideas I had in the way I talked about it. If you are someone looking to build a spec house in St. James, it really is a great high lot with so many great angles or someone looking to become a part of the community, I would be glad to help you make this happen.
