Skagway day was probably my favorite day on this Alaska cruise. The 2.5 hour ride on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway in combination with a walk around the town (and a treat from the Klondike Doughboy which is not to be missed) made for the perfect day!

Alaska...a trip like no other!
We sailed out of Seward on a very rainy day but it cleared up nicely for embarkation. On day 2, we cruised the Inside Passage and while it was cold, the sites were were simply jaw-dropping. Temperatures were considerably more mild on land and we had a great time (and quite the work out) walking out to Mendenhall Glacier and Nugget Falls.
