Sri Lanka (Columbo) 🇱🇰
In Sri Lanka the traffic is a beast and buses rule the roads. Tuk Tuks can get in between the gaps easier, but you’re not allowed to drive a tuk tuk on the highway or toll roads or go faster than 25 miles per hour so a challenge if going far.

USA (Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii) 🇺🇸
In 2006 the Feast of Lele (means Lahaina) was the first luau I ever attended. It was intimate, right on the beach, and served five epicurean courses from the Pacific island nations of Aotearoa, Tahiti, Samoa, and Hawaiʻi. Tragically last year in 2023 it was among the many homes and businesses destroyed in the Lahaina wildfires in Maui.

Carrying six lanes of traffic over the Panama Canal this cabled bridge is one of two to cross the canal. It was built in 2004 and named Centennial the year after Panama gained its independence in 2003.

Egypt (Philae, Aswan) 🇪🇬
Sitting on the largest manmade lake in the world (lake Nasser) the island of Philae was the cult center of Isis.
This picture of Trajan’s Kiosk is considered by many the most appealing structure on the island. It is decorated with reliefs of Trajan burning incense to honor both Isis and Osiris, while also offering wine to Isis and Horus.
