This photo was taken at the Senkwekwe orphanage in the Virunga National Park of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the only one of its kind in the world. The work André Bauma (pictured) and his colleagues do in this, Africa's oldest park, is one of the most important and (sadly) least publicized conservation work on this planet. Some of the gorillas are victims of poaching, others were orphaned when their mothers were deliberately killed.

The goal is to return them to the wild, where rangers protect 60% of the world's remaining mountain gorillas, only 600 animals, that live in Virunga.

KONKY X JAMHURI EDITION was soo liiit!!! 🔥🔥First of all how do you miss such an event!! Omg

We started with an amazing continental breakfast swimming at our accommodating apartments with endless photoS motoS!!💥

Then marine park called on us for some fancy beach photos before proceeding into the deep waters to swim with and feed the fish😍 ahh, ahhh, ahh!!! Nothing beats that feeling for sure.
We got to swim in the ocean (deep end😃) with floaters ofcourse for safety (those who dont know how to swim) , then we went to lagoon island to visit our frien the star fish, and we met a new friend, spider fish!!
