An amazing vacation spot with a huge family-style kitchen and island great for catching up with friends and family in an open living room setting. Enjoy the great views from the deck or just hang out at the fire pit. The house is in a cul-de-sac lot near the point. A freshly graveled path made up of 130 steps leads you down to the water from the house. Fish or swim off the private dock in a quiet cove where fish love to hang, hence the name of property. You can bring your own boat or PWC to keep at the dock, or rent a pontoon boat from the local marina. Play some of the many games including horseshoes or corn hole outside. Rainy days or evenings are still packed with excitement with ping pong, Foosball, shuffleboard in the basement, or just hang out and watch Direct TV. The gated community has a swimming pool, a community pavilion with restrooms & fire pit, and covered community dock. Don’t forget to explore all that Lake James and surrounding areas have to offer with lots of activities and places to visit year round including Linville Falls, Pisgah National Forest, Hawks Nest and a 45 minute commute to Asheville.
