Are you in a PM contract?
Deposits/start up fees are all necessary in protecting yourself and your clients. It ensures everyone is in this season with the intentions to win!
I do not however require a contract be signed.
No one wants to stay in a business relationship where they aren’t happy. As for the Mer-Maids, in all our years in business, we have never left a listing mid season.
And every season we have the same homeowners who willingly return for the next. Our passion to provide 5 star services is the only contract needed.
Here’s a little tip for any home owners in a property management contract. You, the homeowner, are not the only side that is capable of breaching contract. In fact, I see way more property management companies breaching contract more than I see homeowners. If they promise you five star service and they don’t provide it, that’s a breach.
