Last night we had a private cocktail party and dinner with a special surprise performance by Silver Birds Steel Orchestra. Today I checked into Animal Kingdom Lodge and got pixie dusted to a savanna view room! Check out this view from my balcony!🦒🦒🦒 This is one of my favorite resorts at Disney. It’s actually the very first one I stayed in on my first WDW trip in 2003.
Today I boarded Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady and it already been a ton of fun. The check in and boarding process was SO easy and fast. Tomorrow is a sea day so there will be lots of time to check out this ship. Today we spent the day in Costa Maya. I have had a migraine so I didn’t go on my planned excursion but did get off the ship and explored the port. There’s a lot of shopping and activities right there. My friend, Charlene, and i decided to get Piranha Pedicure’s while there. It’s definitely a strange feeling thing! Today in Roatan, I took an excursion to see all kinds of animals! I will admit, I am not a sloth fan at all and didn’t really intend to hold one bit I went ahead and did it. (They just kinda give me the heebie-jeebies). Here is a clip from the experience! It was not as bad as I expected, but I was still a little uncomfortable, as you can probably tell. 🤣🦥 Luckily this was a Royal Caribbean planned excursion because we ran into a traffic jam on the way back to port and cut it REALLY close. Gangway was scheduled to go up at 4:30 and I walked on board AT 4:30. The ship will wait for you if you are on a Royal excursion.
