Let’s talk about Royal Caribbean’s private island and how you can experience the Perfect Day at Coco Cay! ☀️🌴

Upon arrival, you are greeted by musicians and dancers, getting you excited for the amazing day ahead! Take a look at some of the things you can experience on the island!

THE HIDEAWAY: The new adult only section of the resort, featuring an amazing (and fun!) pool, hammocks, live music, and more! (Additional cost, but SO worth it!)

THRILL WATERPARK: Royal Caribbean’s Thrill Waterpark is a mega water-sports paradise with 13 waterslides, a record-breaking Wave Pool, Adventure Pool and Snack Shack serving complimentary food and snacks (there is a fee to enter the waterpark)

OASIS LAGOON: The largest freshwater pool in all of Bahamas. Oh yeah, they have a swim up bar and little “tables” throughout where you can rest your drink while you enjoy the water. I LOVED it here!

PRO TIP: Cruising Edition! 🚢

Since I have many clients cruising in the coming months, I thought I’d share my top 5 things for when you first board (embark) a cruise ship, regardless of the cruise line!

1️⃣ Explore the ship: You can either take a look at the posted maps or just wander around! (my favorite!) Take the time to learn the lay of the land and start scooping out some places that you want to visit later!

2️⃣ Time to eat: Head to one of the ship's dining spots for a welcome aboard snack. Usually the ship’s main buffet is open during embarkation. Pro tip: it’s totally okay to go back for seconds and don’t forget the ice cream!

3️⃣ Meet the Crew: Take a moment to chat with the crew. Learn their names, hear their stories, and absorb their enthusiasm for making your voyage unforgettable. On my last cruise, I learned that one of our severs knew the small town in Macedonia that Alex’s family is from!

4️⃣ Daily Schedule Check: Cruise ships are a hive of activities. Grab a daily schedule (or check the app) and start to plan your day. I personally like to mix in 1-2 things to check out with a whole lot of relaxing on my balcony/poolside.

5️⃣ Sunset Spot: Find a perfect location to witness the sun setting over the horizon. Whether on deck or from your balcony, nothing beats a sunset at sea!

During my May 2022 visit to Disneyland, we received the honor of being guests at Club 33. This exclusive dining experience is for members (or their guests) and is something that I’ve always wanted to do.

As you know, I love Disney history, so to dine in an iconic location was a dream come true!

Characters interactions on a Disney Cruise ship are top notch and here’s why!

✨Once on board, you can find out when and where Disney characters will be meeting by using the Disney navigator app. The app is easy to use and you can “heart” things you’d like to do and it’ll remind you when it’s time to head to that event/character meet & greet, show, etc.

✨The lines are no one near as long as in the theme parks; the character interactions are thoughtful, lengthy and leave you feeling SO happy.

✨Often times, a few characters are meeting in areas of the ship that are near each other, so you can visit with a few of them in a short period of time.

✨Most of the characters are meeting around the Grand Hall, so you can enjoy its beauty while you wait your turn.

‼️Don’t forget about the two great promotions that Disney Cruise Line is running:

1. Book a Disney cruise by March 14, 2025, and pay only half of your required deposit on the day you make your reservation! A couple of important things to know:
* Remaining balance due at time of final payment.
* A typical deposit for a Disney Cruise is 20%, so you would only pay 10% at time of booking
* This offer is valid on select cruises sailing between June 16, 2025, and May 31, 2026, that do not require final payment at time of booking.
* This offer is not valid on Disney Destiny sailings departing November 20, 2025, through December 3, 2025.

Welcome to Wave season! 🌊

Before I was in the travel industry, I had no idea what wave season was, and I’m guessing you don’t know either!

To put it simply, wave season is a time of year, typically the beginning of January and into February where people get the itch to plan a vacation! The holidays are over and many people are realizing that they haven’t solidified their Spring Break plans! Others are looking further out and planning their summer vacations. There are also other people who realize that traveling over the holidays may be the route to go next year!

For the last post 2024, I think I’ll start a new tradition with looking back on my personal/business travel this year.

I started the year with a MSC cruise with Alex / another couple and thoroughly enjoyed escaping the cold/gray weather of January in Michigan. Highlight of the trip: watching the Lions game in the sports bar making friends with fellow Lions fans and celebrating a big win!

In February, I escaped to North Myrtle Beach for our NLB’s owner retreat. This was my first time to the area, so that always brings an additional level of excitement. Highlight of the trip: Early birthday celebration with some of my favorite people!

At the end of April, Kristy and I journeyed to Walt Disney World for our annual “quick girls trip”. I love our tradition and am looking forward to our next adventure! Highlight of the trip: Dinner at California Grill- SO GOOD!

In June, our agency ventured to Universal Orlando Resort and Walt Disney World for our annual Agent Education Program. Here, we spent a ton of time in the parks, exploring/learning/having fun. Highlight of the trip: Private EPCOT dessert party!

At the end of July, our family headed to the upper peninsula of Michigan for some much-needed rest and a mental break. I will forever be thankful for my friend Julie and my bestie Kristen for taking care of my mom while we were gone (this was right after her hospitalization and she told me that I had to go on my family vacation) This was probably my favorite trip of the year because of all the time we spent in hiking, exploring parks and seeking out waterfalls. Highlight of the trip: too many!

In August, I was given the opportunity stay at Secrets Maroma Beach in Rivera Mexico. Since this was our first all-inclusive, we were over the moon excited to experience a vacation like this. This resort definitely did not disappoint and we still talk about how good margaritas are in Mexico- ha! Highlight of the trip: The swim up bar- ha!

In September, we had another first and ventured to Ocean City, Maryland for the Ocean’s Calling music festival. This was another new area for us, so we embraced the boardwalk and ocean life for the weekend. Highlight of the trip: Enjoying amazing music while feeling the ocean breeze just steps away!

In November, we changed things up and moved our owners retreat to the Fall-ha! We spent countless hours talking travel business, but still managed to squeeze in some fun. Highlight of the trip: The surprise bathing suit coverup that was gifted to me! Take a good look at it!

Rounding out the year with a dream opportunity- to be invited for a media preview cruise aboard the Disney Treasure! I’ve had the privilege of sailing on several cruise lines, but you really cannot top Disney Cruise Line. The attention to detail, level of service, the entertainment, magic, etc- it is THE BEST! Highlight of the trip: Everything!

2024 was an amazing travel year, which thankfully helped to balance some life’s stressors our family navigated this year.

Here’s to another year of travel, memories, and adventures!

As 2024 draws to a close, I thought it’d be fun to take a look at the vacations I’ve helped plan! ✈️

I’ve had the distinct pleasure of helping 116 families travel across the world this year! They’ve been everywhere from the Alaska, Hawaii, Ireland, Scotland, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Greece, Italy, Croatia, and all across the continental United States!

But on a serious note, I wouldn’t be celebrating a successful travel year without each of YOU! I will forever be thankful for the continuous referrals and repeat clients who make up a solid majority of my business. It truly means the world to me. 💕
