Since early October Chemistry is cruising Papua New Guinea's water. Beautiful spots, plenty fish, lots of vegetables, fruit and very cheerful people!
Last Monday we had a War Canoe Show at Waga Waga, Milne Bay.

Ontong Java Atoll or Luangiua is one of the largest atolls on earth. It is sometimes referred to as Lord Howe Atoll, not to be confused with Lord Howe Island.

2nd anchorage - Roncador Reef

Roncador is a submerged reef in the Solomon Islands, south of Ontong Java Atoll and north of Santa Isabel Island. Together with Nukumanu and Ontong Java, the two nearest atolls located further north, they form a small geographic group.

First anchorage: Arnavon Islands (7°27'0" S and 158°0'0" E)
The Arnarvon Islands, located between Santa Isabel and Choiseul islands, are home to the Arnavon Marine Conservation Area. The Conservation Area was established in 1995 by The Nature Conservancy, a large US conservation organization, in consultation with customary landowners from Isabel, Choiseul and Wagina.
It was the first community-managed marine conservation area in Solomon Islands and the reason for this was for the Arnavon Islands is one of the most significant breeding rookeries for the critically endangered Hawksbill Turtle in the world.

Sailing the Solomon Islands - best way to see and be in it!

More praise for Paradise Cruises, SV Chemistry, with Gavin, Luciana, and Luna!

July 2018, we had an amazing time exploring the Morovo Lagoon for a week aboard the yacht Chemistry.

Most definitely the best way to see this stunning area. We were the only yacht around and enjoyed the peace of smooth empty anchorages.

The yacht had all the comforts of home. Gavin was a very knowledgable captain and knew the area very well. Lucianas food was amazing and plentiful. It was clear that they were respected in the local communities and we were met with friendly faces wherever we went.

It was an awesome adventure with great hosts well off the beaten track. If you can do it, Do It!

After a great fun and a big fight we have a beautiful Mahi Mahi. Well done again, Peter!
