If visiting from places with no OCEAN, you NEED to watch this!!!

If this doesn't help people, we don't know what will...

Plenty resources online, for ocean safety and education.

Aloha Maui Visitors,
We have been seeing and reading MANY comments from people meaning no harm, but sharing their experiences of visiting Maui and hearing firsthand from the survivors of their sad heart wrenching stories of survival and losses...

On behalf of our Ohana and friends, please watch this video and make a conscious decision NOT to ask, but rather just be kind. Show Aloha and that alone is healing.

No need ask over and over. Not fun rehashing traumas to strangers then going back home to temporary housing in hotels with no kitchens and many dealing with PTSD.

People just trying to make do and going back to work, in hopes of rebuilding and healing.

Mahalo nui

A Pathway Home.
Calling ALL Native Hawaiians. Your people need you. Hawai'i needs you!

As the generational mass exodus of Hawaiians leaving Hawai'i continues, due to the high cost of living. There has been and continues to be the polar opposite flow of new arrivals to Hawai'i seeking a better life.

This mass exodus has caused a vacuum effect and is being filled by non native Hawaiians. From high paying careers within the medical fields and airline pilots to Charter tour companies being owned and operated by non native Hawaiians.

To the Hawaiian investors, Hawaiian entrepreneurs, Hawaiian Cultural Advisors/ Practitioners and Hawaiian studies majors, here in Hawai'i and afar, Hawai'i needs you.

It's time that you become the voices and not just participants of your Homeland.

It's time that you reap the financial benefits of the multi-Billion dollar tourism industry, by becoming successful industry leaders and business owners. Representing Hawai'i by Hawaiians and inspiring future generations of Native Hawaiians.

It's time keiki grow up seeing themselves represented as Hawaiians beyond Luau's and entry level hospitality jobs, with little to no hope or ambition.

Growing up seeing financially successful Hawaiian professionals leading an industry and representing the Hawaiian Culture to the World is providing a clear pathway to success for Native Hawaiian keiki.

Creating Hope.
And through Hope Discovering Passions.
And through Passions Inspiring DREAMS.

Seeing is believing.

From Disneyland to Native Hawaiian Culture forward. This is our goal. You can’t blame people for coming to visit a beautiful place that for generations has been marketed to them as Beautiful Paradise, Soft Sandy Beaches, Gorgeous Resorts, Mai Tai’s and Road to Hana. It really is an image the State of Hawaii and the Hawaii Tourism Authority has pushed onto people, to get them to visit.

Video Warning: Feelings may be hurt. Fond memories may be called into question... We apologize in advance. Nothing personal. You might see your special Honu encounters differently after this. More from a "WOW I'm so special" to maybe more like "Oh man, I was just used for safety from 🦈🦈"

Please, watch entire video. Such a great message and possibly THE best most informative enlightening video, for visitors planning on coming to Maui that has ever been made. A MUST watch!! Watch until the end.

SHARKS - HAWAI'I OCEAN HAZARDS
Please, watch, share & keep sharing. We live, visit and play in the wild oceans. Many taking for granted truly how wild and dangerous it can be. DO NOT become complacent. Respect the sea and all the creatures within, as you would respect the dangers on land. Inspired, in hopes of educating will help save lives and help reduce possible encounters. The idea is to teach you what to lookout for then for you to share the knowledge gained, for others friends/family etc, to also learn from. Knowledge is power & key to survival.

Please, watch, share & keep sharing. Witnessing the same kine injuries over and over again, year after year, inspired us to make this video. The idea is to teach you how to avoid injuries and then for you to share the knowledge gained, for others friends/family etc, to also learn from. Knowledge is power & key to survival. Mental Health Tip.
Beware of the ritualistic routines. Although, routines can be healthy, they can also stifle us, by putting ourselves into a box & not getting out experiencing new things. Don't be afraid to break the mold & force yourself to try something new.

Turn volume up!! Listen to the majestic whales and read about their cultural significance to the Native Hawaiians.

As Ala Moana hotel in Honolulu is known and used by locals, for island hopping kine trips, we should all look to support the Royal Lahaina Resort, whenever island hopping to Maui, in the future, once everyone has found permanent housing.
Royal Lahaina offered their entire resort rooms and dining services to the Lahaina wildfire victims, before applying or receiving any sort of reimbursement from FEMA, for doing so.

Beautiful gesture and one we should all support. Mahalo nui, Royal Lahaina

An original. Among the first of the Kaanapali resorts, Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows is a spacious, stylish, unforgettable place on one of Maui’s best stretches of sand.

Proud to say, we handed out $3,400 in cash from our personal savings. $100 here $200 there to victims of the Lahaina wildfire. We couldn’t wait on our mediocre sales from our Maui Strong collection so we just did it ourselves ❤️

Mental Health Tip:
When grieving from recent loss & heartbreak, Stagnation, Isolation & Floundering will lead you down a very lonely dark path. You MUST get out & find a meaningful purpose that drives you & holds your focus, for now.
