Our Experience:โจ
On December 31, 2019, my family and I went to Baguio. For three days, we stayed in a transient house and visited tourist attractions. In the house where we stayed, we joyfully welcomed the new year. We had breakfast at GoodTaste Restaurant before heading to the transient house to rest. We ordered lomi there, and to our surprise, it was delicious. We already went to the van after resting at the traditional house, and we're ready to explore exciting tourist spots in Baguio City. Something caught my attention while riding in the van. They were the colorful, attractive houses known as the Colors of Stabosa. I took advantage of the opportunity and photographed those houses. Because of the different vibrant colors, I can't take my eyes off those houses. Bell Church was our next stop. It was simply enjoyable to visit and explore that location because we learned about the architectural styles and designs of a Buddhist temple. Not only was the temple beautiful, but it was also steeped in Buddhist tradition and beliefs. So far, our time there has been fantastic. We enjoyed and relaxed at Mines View Park after visiting the Bell Church. There, we took in the scenery of mountains and forests, as well as Itogon's abandoned mines, also known as the Balatoc Mines. There are also many lovely flowers that we saw there. We decided to try horseback riding while exploring the area. Riding the horse was fun and thrilling. While riding the horse, we took some photos. Before leaving the place, we didnโt miss the chance to buy some Baguio souvenirs at Souvenir shop. Tam-Awan Village was another interesting tourist attraction that we visited. We walked and stepped our way through the steeply built-up mountain village. It was exhausting to explore the locations, but it was worthwhile and enjoyable. For a low entrance fee, we had already enjoyed the Igorot huts, nature, art galleries, art installations, views, and more. We were able to experience and learn about the simple life of a Cordilleran. The artwork and paintings at Ugnayan Gallery were incredible. It was fascinating to learn about the tribes' cultures. We also went to a souvenir shop to get something to remind us of our trip. Our day wouldn't be complete without a visit to a terrifying location. The Diplomat Hotel was the name. The abandoned building is said to be one of the Philippines' most haunted. We admit that while exploring the area, we got the chills. Visiting the hotel was no joke. While walking to the place, my family and I had a scary feeling. My brother and cousin vomited after visiting the Diplomat hotel. That was strange and disturbing. We were shocked at the time. Finally, we arrived at Camp John Hay. In the City of Pines, Camp John Hay is a paradise. We just went for a walk and enjoyed the scenery. The views of nature put us at ease. It was a pleasant feeling. Overall, our stay in Baguio was relaxing and enjoyable. For those planning to come here, don't hesitate to visit Baguio City because it has many exciting offers beyond your expectations.๐ค๐
