Just need to wish this guy a "Happy National Beard Day."

I'm very excited about this journey he is on because man is he hunky.

For real though he is the SWEETEST and the last few weeks during my car line duty he has pulled up to get the boys and has a special treat for me. Today it was flowers and chocolate covered strawberries, I mean come on. Like what more could I ask for. You're simply the best. 🥰

Sometimes when your two worlds allign it’s really a beautiful thing. 💜

When we decided to make the big move to Chapin, South Carolina there were A LOT of unknowns. Shoot, Derrik and I bought our home after a 10 minute FaceTime call. The one thing that was so important to me was that the boys and I would find a home in a warm and welcoming school environment.

Piney Woods was exactly what we needed. I have never witnessed a school setting like this one. The boys have grown and become better people because of this place. The way their teachers have loved them and truly valued them as people is incredible. It brings this mom to tears just thinking about it. If you have had my boys know we love you! It takes a village and we are lucky with the best one.

For me, I am able to come in everyday and spend time with the coolest kiddos that I know will make this world a better place one day. I have been so fortunate to watch them grow. Once a Charles baby, always a Charles baby.

So this year I am so happy to announce that Brittany: Never Look Back Vacations is an official business partner! The amount this school has given the Charles family is invaluable and I love giving back in this little way.

Y’all my pixie dust dreams all came true at the D23 expo. When I tell you Disney is on their A-game I mean it!

So what am I the most excited for??

1. A new Villains Land coming to Magic Kingdom with TWO new attractions
2. Are you ready to choose your door? Montsropolis is getting a new home in Hollywood Studios. This will be Walt Disney Worlds first suspended roller coaster!
3. The new Pirates of the Caribbean and Spaceship Earth longes at Magic Kingdom and Epcot.
4. There will be a new Cars add on in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom with two new rides
5. Disney is outdoing themselves and adding multiple new ships to the DCL fleet

We have major news on Disney’s newest ship to come:
Disney Destiny! 🚢

The newest addition to Disney’s fleet, inspired by heroes and villains, will embark on its maiden voyage in late 2025 from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

First up is my two favorite things (so far) for obvious reasons!

Edna Á La Mode Sweets- A delightful confectionery that is truly “incredible”! 🧁

Staterooms- Among the concierge staterooms and suites, there will be four royal suites inspired by "Hercules" and "The Incredibles," featuring accommodations and views that are nothing short of heroic. ❤️

New Dining-Introducing Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, a unique dining experience celebrating the iconic music from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film that has captivated audiences for generations. 🦁

Good Morning from Magic Kingdom (it honestly never gets old saying that)

Yesterday I was able to try out all things Lightening Lanes with Multipass and Singlepass.

I’m not going to lie, because I want you to have an honest review. Before coming to the parks I was a little skeptical about the new system. I didn’t know if guests would get as many ride opportunities and was nervous about making come back times.

Well I was completely WRONG! I am a total lightening lane fan. The lines are so short, you can easy book a new ride once you have scanned in to each ride, and if you have park hoppers you can get rides in other parks. It’s the best!

Our activities kicked off yesterday with our welcome reception at the Hard Rock Cafe, where we mixed & mingled, presented sales awards, discussed company goals & more.

Today our Universal Orlando Resort Business Development Manager is hosting our agency with resort site tours & classroom sessions!

✨ Yesterday was an adventure ✨

We were up at rope drop and ready to explore everything Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure had to offer. We are staying at a premier resort so you know we had our express pass lanyards on! From 8:00am-4:00pm we were able to check a lot off the list.

Good Morning from Universal Studios ☀️

Yesterday we checked in at the Hard Rock Hotel. This is considered a premier resort at Universal so included with our reservation is express pass for each day we are in the parks. This makes getting on and off rides a breeze! I’ll do a full and honest resort tour later. 😃

After checking in we headed to Volcano Bay. The Tapu Tapu technology was so beneficial and made our day a breeze.

We ended the night with a couple rides and the night time shows at both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. They have really stepped up their game with these. I was so impressed!

Did you know I have a podcast that comes out with new episodes every other week? Brooke and Brittany Do Disney is a podcast that focuses on all things travel and fills our listeners in on all the new updates to the parks. My fellow travel agent, Brooke and I will fill you in on all the ins and outs the parks have to offer so your trip can run as smooth as possible.

Tomorrow we will be releasing a new episode highlighting all of our plans for our upcoming AEP (agency education program) trip. This is a personal favorite of mine to record and we had A LOT to share with the listeners this year. We are packing SO much in!!

We have planned a lot but we need your help! On Monday, July 1st we are doing a four park challenge. This means we will be going to all four parks at Walt Disney World in one day! In each park we have to: meet a character, grab a snack, watch a show and ride three attractions. Brooke will pick a ride, I will pick a ride and we need YOU to pick a ride.

Tomorrow on our stories we will have four rides for each park listed. Pick your favorite and the winner will be added to our list.

Days 7-10 Stavanger, Norway

We spent the last few days exploring a city we loved so much. Stavanger is a larger town in Norway but has such a special charm to it. The buildings are covered in graffiti and the streets are cobblestone. The people are friendly (for the most part) and the pubs are welcoming.

We didn’t know that the city basically closed down on Sunday so we ate McDonalds and Chinese, took a long nap and walked the streets of old town.

Unfortunately due to weather and me being a pansy we did not get to do the rock hike. It was a major bummer but at least we came home in one piece.

All in all if you ever have a chance to visit Iceland and Norway, do it! Without hesitation, it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Everything is done at a slower pace, people are humble, and the scenery is incredible.

Day Six- We hiked Preikestolen

Pulpit Rock was no easy task and it took the majority of our day to complete. The views were beautiful and unlike anything we had ever seen before. I only had one minor panic moment, so I’ll call that a win.

We ended our day at “Lonestar Grill.” This Texas themed restaurant was pretty on point and kept us laughing the whole meal.

We ended our night in a little bed and breakfast in the town of Lysebotn.

I will never get over this landscape, it’s ridiculously beautiful!

Day Five… and probably my favorite so far!

We got off the train and headed straight to pick up our rental car. We drove out of Stavenger and into the countryside until we arrived at Skåpet.

Skapet means “The Nest” and is a beautiful hike that ends with tiny mountain huts. The hike was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, and per usual for Norway a little rainy. We were the only people in sight the entire hike and it really felt like this little slice of paradise was completely our own. Throughout the hike we could constantly hear three waterfalls and hiked up countless amounts of rocks.

At the end of the hike we found our mountain home for the night. At Skapet there is no staff so it is your responsibility to bring your own food, cook your own meals, heat your own cabin and leave it better than what you found it.

Derrik and I spent our evening cooking Ramen, chatting with people from around the world, relaxing in the sauna, taking a shower in a waterfall and admiring the view. I don’t know if this is for everyone but we really loved it. It was so nice to completely unplug for a night and enjoy the slow pace Skapet offers.

Day Four: We saw the best of Oslo!

Derrik and I spent day four exploring all Oslo had to offer!

I had to have a touch of Disney in this trip so we walked to the real Akershus Fortress. Epcot has the table service dining location called Akershus Royal Banquet Hall so I had to check it out. Let me tell you they are way different.

We then walked around the city in and out of different shops and pubs. This is our favorite part of traveling over seas, living like the locals.

We ended our day walking to the top of the Oslo Opera House before catching an overnight train to our next destination. We had our own cabin and believe it or not train beds are actually pretty comfortable.
