Day 13 -Oslo- We had one more day in Oslo and we walked to see more of the city. Guys...I love cemetaries! The older, the better. My husband humors me and if we see one, we stop. And good news! We love churches too, and here in Europe, they usually go hand in hand. If there is a church, there is usually a cemetary. We also walked a huge park named Ekebergparken Sculpture Park which wasfull of sculptures. It was fascinating! We ended the night with the best dessert. Home tomorrow!

Day 12 - We couldn't get a flight out of Kirkenes until Sunday evening, so we took the opportunity to drive southwest and cross over the border into Finland. There isn't much to see or do in that part of the Country, but it was fun to say we had lunch in Finland (it may or may not have been leftover pizza from the night before, but 🤷♀️. Then we headed north to a costal town called Burgøyne. We made lots of stops along the way to take pictures. We even came across the smallest chapel in Norway and they happened to be having a ceremony that they only do once a year.

Day 11 Norway- today we got off the ferry at our last stop, Kirkenes, Norway. We walked to our hotel which was only 1 mile away. To our surprise, they had a room for us to check in to at 9:30 a.m. And another surprise, the car rental company called us and asked us if we could pick up our rental early with no extra charge! Um, yes! We took a tour of an old bomb shelter. Kirkenes was occupied by the Russians during WWII and was bombed heavy by the Germans. Then we drove to the border crossing of Russia and Norway. After the border, we went to a beach right on the border of Russia and Norway. On the way, we were driving on a road that is just on the border. Signs are everywhere warning that it is illegal to cross. We also found this cute church and cemetary by the beach! Unfortunately, it was locked and we couldn't go inside.

Norway Day 8- today was a lighter day. We only had one stop for 2 hours in Bodø. We found the Cathedral and a beautiful harbor. Later in the day, we crossed paths with another Havila ship. People from both ships stood on the side of the ship and waves flags. The capitans honked the horns back and forth. It was fun. Dessert was on point today :) And my day ended with the cutest picture of my grand baby 😍
