Yay or Nay? I've never personally tried this or even saw this before, but I spied this pic on another group and wondered what you think! Have you tried this before? Would you try it? In my younger days I would have said "no way!!!!!" But now that my taste buds are more mature and adventurous, It makes me want to plan a day trip to Whiteville so I can try this sandwich.Not because I love collard greens, but because I want to try new things. It's def a good way to check off "try new foods" on my NC buckt list challnge. I was really sad this week when I found out that my favorite store that sold locally made and sourced food was going out of business.

However, today I stumbled across Jeans Neighborhood Market and was excited to see that they are a small business in Apex that also sells many of the same locally made foods that Elk foods used to sell. This is def a great place to go if you want to get organic, locally made and sourced items. They even have their own homemade ice cream!!!! Jean's Neighborhood Market / Ragan & Holly's Pumpkin Patch

Kalkata

Catawba Falls is an easy to moderate hike only 1.2 miles each way with a steady but mild incline. A great hike for varying fitness levels!
