🌟 Gonzalez Family Disney Vacation Day 8 🌟

Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸✨ Today, we spent the day in Hollywood Studios, our absolute favorite park. My kids adore the rides, and we were on a mission to see how many times we could crash the Millennium Falcon. IYKYK. 🚀😆

Major and I decided to try blue milk... let's just say we won’t be trying the green one. Luke Skywalker can keep it! 😂 One of our favorite stops is Oga's Cantina. I try something different each time, and I’m pretty sure I’ve now had all the drinks. They’re all delicious and so much fun! 🍹✨

Our feet were tired, but our hearts were full. We made so many memories on this trip that we’ll treasure forever. Jeremy and I believe that these experiences will mean way more to our kids one day than any material stuff. There is just something magical about Disney vacations as a family. 💖🏰

🌟 Gonzalez Family Disney Vacation Day 7 🌟

Today was our "do all the things we missed or want to do again" day, and we literally park hopped until we dropped! 🏰🚀🎢

We started our day at Magic Kingdom. The boys went one way and the girls went another. Bailey loves a character meet & greet just like I do, but Major was OVER the photos at this point! 😂

I made dinner reservations for my villain-loving girl at Storybook Dining at Artist Point. We ferried over to Wilderness Lodge from Magic Kingdom and had the most delicious meal. Just a heads up—the menu is a bit adventurous, so if you have a picky eater, this might not be the spot for them. The Evil Queen was everything B had hoped for and more. Such a great time! 👑🍽️

Bailey and I had a blast together. I'm thinking more mother/daughter trips in the future. We stayed for the fireworks at Magic Kingdom as well as Extended Evening Hours. Did you know that Disney celebrates the Fourth of July on both the 3rd and 4th? We found a spot about an hour before the fireworks and made some new Magic Kingdom friends while we waited. 🎇🇺🇸

After the spectacular show, we were able to stay for Extended Evening hours since we were deluxe resort guests. We rode 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, The People Mover (mama's favorite), Big Thunder Mountain, and Haunted Mansion. We even had time for a few more, but I was fading fast. 😂 It was time for this old mama to get some sleep and put her feet up. There is no tired like Disney tired!

What a magical day it was! ✨❤️

🌟 Gonzalez Family Disney Vacation Day 6 🌟

We kicked off the day at Magic Kingdom! 🌞 Castle photos are a must in the mornings. Did you know that staying at a Disney resort means onsite guests get early entry 30 minutes before the park opens? You can get so much done during this time. We usually head straight to Peter Pan—it's a family favorite! 🚀✨

We rode rides, indulged in Dole Whips, and enjoyed the parade. Our favorite spot to watch the parade is in Frontier Land with a Dole Whip in hand. You can usually grab a spot right before the parade comes through. 🍍🎉

Next, we hopped on the monorail and headed to lunch at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Chef Mickey prepared some yummy treats for us. How many Mickey waffles is considered too many? Asking for a friend... 🧇😋

After our late lunch, we hopped to Epcot and rode Guardians of the Galaxy. I bought a Single Pass Lightning Lane—seriously one of the best rides at Disney! 🚀🎢

We made it back to Magic Kingdom just in time to be called for our virtual queue for Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Y'all, that ride is adorable! I can't wait to ride it again when I'm there in November. The queue is precious—you can see the beignets Tiana is cooking in her kitchen. 🍩❤️

We closed down the night with a spin in the tea cups. I do not ride with my family—those people spin like crazy! I wouldn't be able to get out of my tea cup! 🎡😂

🌟 Gonzalez Family Disney Vacation Day 5 🌟

Today, we said goodbye to the Disney Wish and hello to our new home away from home, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge! 🦒🐘 The kids loved seeing all the animals from our balcony—what an amazing experience!

We couldn’t wait to hop into Animal Kingdom park to ride some of our favorite attractions and meet our two favorite chipmunks. Chip and Dale were not invited to Donald's Dino Bash, so they’re trying to sneak in with their costumes! 🐿️🐿️

This time, we opted for park hopper tickets. If you have older kids, park hoppers are the way to go! But if it’s your first visit and the kiddos are younger, doing one park per day is the best approach.

Guardians of the Galaxy is my kids’ new favorite ride at Disney. 🚀 But beware if you have motion sickness—this one can be a lot to handle!

Bailey and I split up from the boys and opted to meet some of our favorite princesses. Did you know that you can meet the princesses in their respective countries? Snow White can be found in Germany, Belle and Aurora in France, and Anna and Elsa in Norway. 🌍👑

A lot of people tell me that Epcot is not for kids. This couldn’t be further from the truth anymore. It’s actually my second favorite park for kids after Magic Kingdom. There is so much to do for little ones! Speaking of, we were able to cook up a little fun with our favorite little chef on Remy's Ratatouille Adventure! 🐀🍳

🌴✨ Day 4 of the Gonzalez Disney Vacation Adventure! ✨🌴

We woke up to the stunning sights of Castaway Cay, Disney's Private Island. It was a nostalgic yet fresh experience as we tried new activities with the kids being older this time around.

First thing to note: the photo ops as you leave the ship and enter the island are fantastic! The lines move quickly, so definitely take a moment to snap some pics before diving into the sandy fun.

We secured some chairs near the snorkel area since that was first on our agenda. Bailey and I grabbed our snorkel gear and headed out. Snorkeling at Castaway Cay is a blast—you might even spot a hidden Mickey! While we snorkeled, Jeremy and Major had a great time playing on the beach and enjoying the water slides. And don't worry, there are life jackets available along all the beaches for the little ones who aren't strong swimmers yet.

After snorkeling, we met up with the guys for a mouth-watering BBQ lunch. The food is included on the island and it's delicious! Plus, there's free ice cream just like on the ship!

To work off some of those tasty treats, we went on a family bike ride. Bike rentals are available on the island and it's a perfect way to explore some off-the-beaten-path areas. But if your family prefers to relax, there's plenty to do on the island. The Kid's Club is even open there!

For dinner, it was Major's night, and we headed to Marvel. The food was great and the show was so much fun, with a fantastic surprise at the end! Since the kids are older, we opted for the later dinner seating. There are two times: 5:45 and 8:15 PM. With the later dinner, you can catch the nightly show beforehand. Tonight's show was Aladdin—DO NOT miss this one! It's absolutely fantastic and truly lives up to the hype. Broadway at sea!!

After dinner, the kids met up with friends, and Jeremy and I explored a couple of the lounges. Disney Wish has some great adult spots. As a Tiana fan, the Bayou was my favorite. Plus, I love a good Hurricane... the drink, not the storm!

🌟 **Day 3 of our Disney Vacation: Magic on the High Seas!** 🌟

Jeremy and I kicked off the day with a beautiful brunch at Palo. This adult-only experience is a must-try! Send the kids to the nursery and Kids Club, and bring your appetite—you won’t regret it! 🥂🍽️

The Royal Gathering meet and greet is a free experience but requires booking 30 days in advance. Bailey was living her best princess life on this sailing, meeting all her favorite characters! 👑✨

After the meet and greet, Major needed some bro time, so we all headed to the Hero Zone for an Incredibles obstacle course. Even the adults joined in for some friendly competition. I mentioned earlier that none of the Gonzalez family will be joining the Olympic Table Tennis team anytime soon, but we sure had fun and laughed a lot! 😄🏓

Today was our port day in Nassau, but we decided to stay on the ship and enjoy the amenities. This is one downside to a 3-night sailing—if you can, I highly recommend at least a 4-night cruise with a day at sea. You’ll thank me later! We did hop off the ship briefly for some fun photos and a stroll through the straw market. Meanwhile, Major chose to hang out with his new friends in Edge! 🏖️📸

Tonight was pirate night, and you can go all out or keep it simple. Bailey and I rocked our best Smee look, while the guys opted for a less crowded view from our balcony for the fireworks at sea. Disney is the only cruise line allowed to do this right now, and it’s truly spectacular! 🎇🏴‍☠️

There are countless photo opportunities with characters around the ship. I purchased the photo package, and Bailey made sure we got our money’s worth! If you have a character-loving kid like I do, get the photo package! 📸❤️

🌟 **Day 2 of our Disney Vacation: Part 2 - Disney Cruising** 🌟

Once we boarded the Disney Wish, we set off on a little adventure around the ship. The kids' areas were having an open house, so our first stop was The Oceaneer Club, followed by Edge and Vibe. Since our kids were on the bubble for the ages, they got to attend two clubs during the cruise! Major was thrilled to join both Oceaneer and Edge, while Bailey had a blast at Edge and Vibe. They both made some amazing cruise friends!

Major was having so much fun with his new friends at Edge that it was tough to get him to come to dinner each night. 😂

The weather was a bit dreary as we left port, so the Sail Away party was moved indoors. Luckily, the Wish has an awesome stage area in the Grand Hall, making it a perfect spot for the celebration.

One of the coolest things about Disney cruising is the rotational dining system. You get to rotate through the three main restaurants with the same servers each night. Our first dinner was at Arendelle, and if you have a FROZEN fan in your house, this is a MUST do! The dinner show was absolutely fantastic!

🌟✨ **Day 2: Part 1 of Our Vacation!** ✨🌟

Our pick-up time for the Disney Cruise Line transfer was scheduled for 9 am. Bell services came to pick up our luggage at 7:30 am, and it would be delivered directly to our stateroom! After we squared away our luggage, we had to take more photos. Only one kid was happy about this! 📸

We grabbed breakfast at the Food Court, and of course, we had Mickey Waffles and a Mickey cinnamon roll. Yes, please! 🧇🍽️

We met our DCL representative in the main lobby and then we were off to Port Canaveral. One of the things I loved most about using Disney transportation was our boarding group. Because we used Disney, we got boarding group 6! This meant we could board the ship as soon as we checked in at the port. Let the cruise fun begin!! 🛳️✨

🌟✨ Hey Y'all! ✨🌟

It's been a week! I had wanted to start posting about our trip earlier, but Beryl had other things in mind!

Day 1:
When we arrived at MCO, we hopped on Mears Connect, a shared bus service to the Walt Disney World resorts. If you're looking for a budget-friendly ride, this is a great option. Typically, we prefer using Away We Go Transportation for a private transfer to get to our destination a bit quicker. However, we weren't in a hurry this time and wanted to give Mears Connect a try as an alternative.

We arrived at Disney's All-Star Music Resort the day before our sailing on the Disney Wish. I ALWAYS recommend flying in the day before. You never know what kind of flight issues might occur, and that ship will not wait for you! 🚢✈️

We explored our resort, ate dinner at the fabulous Chef Art Smith's Homecomin', and did a little shopping. My Bailey girl loves Legos, so the giant Lego store is a must for us. Don't be scared if there is a line to get into the store. It moves quickly! 🛍️🧱

After dinner, we headed to the arcade at the resort for some game time. The pricing was reasonable, and my kids played for hours! I hate to admit it, but they've never taken advantage of the arcade before since we're typically in the parks from dusk 'til dawn. It was nice to have a resort day. 🎮🎉

Since we were using Disney Cruise Line Transportation the next day, we prepared our luggage to be picked up the next morning to be magically delivered to our stateroom! Then off to bed for a good night's sleep! 🧳✨

No admission is required to visit CityWalk so it is a great first night location to get your trip off to a great start! You can catch a movie at the 18 screen Universal Cinema, check out the vertical wind tunnel at iFLY Hollywood, and you may need some help to carry all of your shopping bags from all of the store options available!
