I’m so bad about updating this page, but I thought you should know, we had the first bear sighting of the season on Wednesday! He thought about breaking into the basement for a minute, but evidently decided he didn’t have the appetite for HVAC filters and old paint. 😂

It’s the tail end of the leaf season, but the Blue Ridge Parkway still has it! Took this with my phone at the Walnut Cove overlook today. Make time to visit us in the fall to really see this display in all its glory! 🍁🍂

In Episode Three of I present my first How-To Guide… How to stubbornly save $720 a month. 😜
In Episode Two of RemixTV the unbearable happened… We had an intruder who literally trashed our yard! Some folks are just animals.
Episode One of RemixTV should be titled, “Murphy’s Law: What Can Go Wrong Will Go Wrong.” Or maybe just, “Chris needs a shower, shave and a very long nap.” The last two days have been… challenging. But shoutout to my new neighbors Brian and Sheila for the tool assist.
Things that didn’t make the cut but we’re a part of this joyous process; 4 Walmart runs, 2 Lowes runs, the landscaper’s mower dying, me vs the carpenter bees in a battle for control of the front porch (I lost), and me flipping the wrong breaker causing the cameras and smart lock to go offline during check-in hours. 😂🤦♂️
For months we have been finishing the renovation on our first Asheville property. We are excited to announce that we have finally finished! The property is staged and it's now LIVE! You can book the South Asheville Hideaway on Airbnb! We will put a link in the comments. We're calling this our soft launch, as our profile still needs some final touches, like professional photos (scheduled for next month), but our first guest checked in today and two more are lined up right behind them. Exciting times!
