Just returned from a wonderful week in Hawaii - our last few days at Aulani Disney Resort & Spa, Hawaii. It was wonderful and magical like anything Disney!
Highlights included:
🌸 the lazy river
🌸 meeting Disney characters & character breakfast
🌸 our beautiful villa
🌸 scavenger hunts and searching for the Menehune
🌸 making our own Mickey ears
🌸 daily Dole whip (IYKYK)
🌸 KA WA`A Lū`au

Traveling with kids tip #4:

Backpack carrier. We usually bring our single stroller for Silje (age 2) in the airport but also check our backpack carrier, like the one below. That way, Kaia (age 3.5) can hop in the stroller on longer walks and we can have Silje in the backpack. These can be pricey but it’s worth it to pay more for a brand that is comfortable.
Of note, they are not allowed in some museums in Europe because of the kickstand.

Kid travel tip #3:
Toddler rail

We’ve used a toddler rail instead of a portable crib or bed. This works especially well in a vacation rental place that has regular beds/mattresses. Super light and can lay flat on the bottom of your suitcase. Also easy to set up.
