This is my monthly meal I get from 🥤Shake Shack 🍔 for less than $10 thanks to the monthly credit with my American Express Gold card, I like to visit the Oak Brook location when I am in the suburbs and there is a location right off Michigan Ave downtown. {Local taxes make the price vary by a few dollars.} 💵

Another day another trip booked thanks to my magic 🪄 combination of the AMEX Platinum, AMEX Delta Reserve and points this flight cost me $0.00!

Who says you can’t use points for redemptions on a holiday weekend?

Delta Air Lines taking off 🛫 from viewing from our room at the Renaissance Concourse. ��I flew to ATL with 32k I had in my account and was auto upgraded to Delta Comfort + thanks to my Platinum status, I was then upgraded 4 days before my flights to … all in the ticket cost $0.00 thanks to my for the flight ✈️ credit! Atlanta was so much FUN this weekend! The plane spotting from our hotel balcony was just as good as I remembered, only this time I brought my real lens a Canon 100-400. I was able to get some amazing shots this trip.

For everyone out there hoping for that elusive upgrade to FC it can and does happen even on one of the busiest travel weeks of the year! I’m PM and it could have happened at 5 days out but those are even more rare and I don’t see them anymore. This upgrade happened in the middle of the night 3 days before check in. I knew there were 6 seats left and they were still trying to charge $213 for the one way upgrade. 12:30am DING 🛎️ You have been upgraded to FC in your next flight!

Christmas in New York is special. This was just one of the stops along my trip. Ice skating under the Rockefeller Center tree. Thinking of going? Traveling is my favorite thing! This morning I flew for the first time in over a decade. The crew was great!!! Can’t wait to explore again!

How did I book it? Well for the first time in I don’t know how many years I paid cash. $80 for a non stop flight is a steal in my book! My friend spent 10k rapid rewards points for her round trip ticket!

This is what you should do next time you get an offer in the mail for a credit card. Why you ask?

🟡Why give the banks more points and money? Make them pay for your business.
🟡That is probably not the best welcome offer out there for that card.
🟡Is this card even for me?
🟡But it has NO annual fee… what’s to lose? 5/24?

And my favorite… give your, partner, spouse, mom, brother a referral bonus!

I am flying out tomorrow to a conference for work and made sure to stop at the bank today to get some $2 bills. My new favorite way to tip when I travel! Thanks to for the idea!

The teller at the bank asked where I was going because she wants a chance to earn a cool tip like this! 🤑

I love the idea and some people believe a $2 bill can bring luck! 🍀 We all need a little more of that!

This friends is what it’s all about. Yes the trips and experiences are cool but not paying interest and fees is so much better! You never want to carry a balance and never want to pay any fees!
