Happy New Year from The Wall House! It’s not all beaches here, you know 😊There’s countryside to explore & a fresh dusting of snow today on the nearby Lomond hills. A lovely walk with a bowl of soup in The Pillars of Hercules afterwards. Perhaps on your next visit?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I can only echo the other wonderful reviews of this place. It is a beautiful space - fresh and stylish, yet cosy. The location is perfect - tucked away off the street and only a few steps from the sea! Parking is easy, and the area is quaint and quiet with a nice harbour and the opportunity to see seals! Ali is a great host, and the thoughtful touches are brilliant - fresh flowers, a welcoming atmosphere and refreshments at check-in etc. We would definitely visit again.”

What a great boat name! I only just noticed it today on my blustery but blue sky walk along to Dysart. Our neighbouring harbour is a nice walk away…with plenty of seals and birds, and occasionally dolphins, to spot along the way. 🦭
There have been some recent cancellations so more dates have opened up in October. Just get in touch if you fancy a break 💕

Hello Autumn! 🍂 Today is the official start of the shortest and often the most dramatic season. Have you started to notice the trees turning?

I definitely have. I just love Autumn!

The Wall House is fully booked Sept & Nov but there’s currently plenty of availability for October - especially Monday to Friday stays. It’s sure to fill up in the next week or two.

Blustery but beautiful today here in West Wemyss. I absolutely never tire of walking up these steps and looking back towards the village.

I was enjoying myself so much I carried on to Dysart harbour. A beautiful coastal walk is good for the soul 💕.

We’re fully booked September & November into the start of December but there’s still some availability in October.

I couldn’t choose a favourite from today’s walk with Breagh. Beautiful, bright and blustery weather. I’m so blessed to live here and to be able to share this special place with my wonderful guests.

Ohhh and spot the 5 seals 🦭 too - they look like rocks but if you zoom in they are sunbathing seals. 💕☺️

Currently the only availability up until September is a cancellation from the 7th-12th July (4 night min). So if you fancy a wee break just get in touch to book it!
