Samar Day Dance Contest
A. MECHANICS:
1. The competition is open to all residents of Samar. (Motiong)
2. Each dance group must consist of six (6) to ten (10) members only and must be 16 to 25 years old regardless of gender.
3. The dance contest proper will be on August 5, 2022
4. Each group can choose their own dance piece (music mash-ups are allowed). The routine must not be less than the minimum of three (3) minutes and maximum of five (5) minutes. There will be a deduction of five (5) points per excess of one minute.
5. Each group must show up 1 hour before the competition starts. Failure to do so mean forfeiture of their entry.
6. Employees, staff, and officers of the Samar Provincial Tourism Office, and other offices of the Provincial Government of Samar are disqualified from joining the competition.
7. The decision of the Panel of Judges is FINAL.
B. PRIZES
Winners will receive cash prizes and certificates of participation.
1st Place P15,000.00
2nd Place P10,000.00
3rd Place P7,000.00
Consolation P5,000.00
