Fall is my favourite time of year!

Here's a fantastic route that's perfect for a scenic fall drive.

You'll see the landscape change when touring “The Transition Drive.” There are some very colourful views along this route, and will be at their peak soon.

While the southern portion of this route features working farms, wetlands and limestone outcroppings, as you travel north your surroundings change dramatically. Spectacular views of granite and evergreens begin to dominate as you enter the southern edge of the Canadian Shield.

Take your time and enjoy the local attractions found along the way. Stretch your legs at Beaver Lake Lions Park, the L&A Dark Sky Viewing Area or at Sheffield Conservation Area. Fantastic restaurants and cafes are found in the communities of Tamworth, Erinsville and Kaladar.
