We’re Travec, and we specialize in culturally immersive travel experiences for families and adults—but our sweet spot is group family travel.

A few fun facts about us:
🌎 Founded in 2022—we were originally called EdConnect Immersive Travel.
🏫 We love partnering with Elementary & Middle Schools, especially those with language classes or dual immersion programs.
👩‍👧‍👦 Our founders, Kelsey + Amanda, are passionate about culture, language, and raising little global citizens. (Both have kids in Spanish immersion programs!)
✈️ We’ve served over 250 travelers—including our youngest, who was just 8 months old!
👋 We’re a team of 6, spread from coast to coast, making the travel magic happen.
📍 Our signature destinations? Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Spain, Puerto Rico, and Costa Rica.

Travec is now offering an incredibly unique DOMESTIC experience in New Mexico!

Rehoboth, New Mexico, is a small community with a rich history closely tied to both the Navajo Nation and Christian missionary efforts. Established in 1903 as a Christian mission and school by the Christian Reformed Church, Rehoboth was founded with the goal of providing education and religious guidance to Native American communities, particularly the Navajo people. Over the years, the area has evolved into a unique cultural blend, where Navajo traditions and Christian influences coexist. Today, Rehoboth is home to Rehoboth Christian School, which continues to serve a diverse student body, including many Navajo students. The community reflects this dual heritage, with Navajo language and customs remaining integral to daily life, while Christian faith and values also play a significant role. This blending of cultures is evident in local events, educational programs, and spiritual practices, creating a distinctive and harmonious environment that honors both the region’s Indigenous roots and its missionary past.

Kate is our ORGANIZER — Kate helps us with building beautiful custom itineraries, organizing projects, and keeps a fresh Gen-Z prospective on things! She is a recent graduate of Grand Valley State University and loves working with animals at a local veterinary office.

Her outgoing and friendly nature is always a joy to be around.

NEW ITINERARY! Join Co-Founder, Amanda Cisneros, and her family in Merida, Mexico next December. Merida holds a special place in their heart as Amanda's Husband, Guillermo, was born there! They visit often and love the kind people, Mayan culture, regional food, and swimming in the cenotes!

Mérida, Mexico, enchants with its rich Mayan heritage, stunning colonial architecture, and vibrant cultural scene set amidst the beauty of the Yucatán Peninsula.

Abby is our COLLABORATOR — the one who gets things done quickly and efficiently. She’s highly organized, personable, and fluent in Spanish. A proud graduate of Arizona State University, Abby is also the wife of a pilot and a devoted mom to three boys.

Her positive energy is contagious, and we’re so grateful to have her on our team.

When you visit Quepos with Travec, the kids have the opportunity to spend the morning at a local school, El Puente! They participate in a gym class and art class. It is a super unique experience that is a trip highlight!
