I've been meaning to share some highlights from my trip to Paris with Wyatt this past August!

It was such an interesting time to come--right as the Olympics had ended and the Special Olympics were about to start.

Our favorites were the sidecar motorcycle tour, the Catacombs, seeing the Olympic rings on the Eiffel Tower, the Seine Cruise, the rentable boats in the Luxembourg Gardens and of course, Disneyland Paris.

The best part to me was seeing the city through 7 year old eyes. Excitement, apprehension, and taking it all in. He even a lost tooth in the taxi ride from the airport and a note came from the French tooth fairy!!

This week after Christmas, the wind down of Hanukkah (though it falls late this year), awaiting the New Year and the return to school...drags on and on!!

The M family had the right plan heading to Costa Rica to eliminate the post holiday blues. They are exploring the Arenal volcano area for a week and ringing in the New Year ziplining through the jungle canopy, sneaking peeks at sloths, soaking in the ecothermal pools, and riding horses around the base of the Arenal volcano.

It is not too early to plan your post holidays-New Year week vacation for next year!!

You could be riding on the back of a motorcyle or cruising in a side car through Lisbon right now like these beautiful ladies!!

Portugal is such a popular and fun travel destination. You can see the city, enjoy the wine, and spend some time on the coast. Can't go wrong!

Keeping up with my yearly tradition to take one of the kids on a European adventure, I have been busy planning my trip to Paris with Wyatt.

Wyatt just turned 7 and planning a trip through his eyes has been fun. We are currently most excited about Disneyland Paris (obviously!), the Catacombs (the bones of 6 million people- he loves the creepy), summit of the Eiffel Tower, and renting tiny sailboats in the Jardin du Luxembourg.

We will be traveling August 20-25 so don't miss our adventures!

There were a lot of things to love about Beaches Turks and Caicos, but number 1 for me was the beach. The water was so, so clear and aqua blue. We had fun digging for shells, swimming, and building sand castles. I have never seen a beach this beautiful and I can totally see why Grace Bay Beach is consistently rated as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

We had so much fun on our trip to Beaches Turks and Caicos that we came home and booked another trip for 2026 to the Beaches Negril!! Handy fact that if you book your Beaches or Sandals vacation on site during your trip or within a week of returning home you get up to a 12% discount! My brother and his wife are celebrating 20 YEARS of marriage at Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia this week. I remember the day they got married...I had just passed my driver's test and driving to get my hair done for the wedding was my first solo driving outing! They are such an awesome couple and deserve the best week!! Such an awesome time of year to escape to beautiful water, beach, and warm, warm, weather!! 😍🥰😍
