Sailing its first voyage in 1936, The Queen Mary ship was one of pure luxury. However, during WWII, the luxury would temporarily go to waste as the ship was borrowed to become a transportation vessel for troops and war prisoners. Perhaps this was the beginning to the Queen Mary’s sinister stories.
Now permanently docked, the Queen Mary is now a world famous tourist attraction, gaining notoriety for its war history and its paranormal guests believed to be onboard. There have been over 150 ghostly apparition stories said to be onboard, and judging by the regularity of said sighting and reported 49 deaths recorded on the ship, maybe there’s more truth to them than some believe.
Stateroom B340 is considered the most haunted room of the ship, which is even available as accommodation for guests. If you’re brave at heart, book a room encounter some of the activity logged in the room whether it be taps and lights turning on randomly, blankets being pulled from the bed, or perhaps even meet the dreaded dark figure said to lurk at the foot of the bed.
