My wife and our two girls spent a little over a week at Lucky Penny. We've been coming to Wells for many years now, and we've rented many places from right on the beach to inland. Lucky Penny was by far the best value. It's a spacious home with an open and very accessible floor plan.

The house hosts a master bedroom with a private master bathroom with whirlpool bath tub, 2 additional large bedrooms, a second bathroom, an ample living room and very large fully equipped kitchen, and if that's not enough it actually has a second living room out front with tons of natural light that affords a great view of the wonderful neighborhood.

For any family who has ever stayed in a hotel room or small rental, you know all too well what it's like not having enough space for the kids. That is not an issue at all at Lucky Penny! Quite frankly, this property was much bigger than we really needed for the four of us, but you'll hear no complaints from me. We even had a few days of pouring rain, and this home was so nice that nobody was disappointed with having to stay inside.

We were also impressed with the attention to detail throughout the home. This home had it all. Everything you could possibly need was in one of the cabinets, drawers, or closets. The decorations and furnishings were extremely well done.

The property was impeccably clean and well-kept. It really shows when an owner takes pride in their property, and Lucky Penny was shining bright when we arrived.

After a day at the beach which is a reasonable walk away, or a very short drive, you can come back and rinse off in the private outdoor shower, step inside to a cool and comfortable home, cook and eat in, or grab dinner from one of the awesome local restaurants, and then spend the night sitting by the new gas fire pit as the friendly neighbors and other vacationers walk by in this lovely and up and coming neighborhood.

The value I mentioned is undeniable. The house is roughly 1,500 square feet and it sits between Route 1 and the beach. For the amount of space you get coupled with the location, you are getting an incredible vacation rental at a very reasonable price.

I would highly recommend Lucky Penny to anyone looking to have an incredible vacation experience.

Welcome to 53. The Parker family has purchased a vacation home in Wells, Maine and it's currently getting some TLC. Before we list with other sites, we would like to offer it to friends first. We hope that you will enjoy your stay and return. Located on the east side of route 1, and on a no outlet road, this property is a great family friendly location. The home has 3 bedrooms (King, Queen, 4 twins, sleeps 8 in beds), and has two full baths. Living room, Sun room, Eat in Kitchen, laundry room, outdoor shower, and fenced in yard. Wifi enabled and fire sticks on tv's. The rental is fully equipped with all you might need from beach chairs-yard games.
Beaches: 1.2 miles to Crescent Beach, 1.7 miles to Wells Beach, 1.8-3.5 miles to Moody, Footbridge, and Ogunquit beaches. After the beach, you are a short walk to the Scoop Deck for ice cream!
Many local attractions, including restaurants, shopping, golf courses, mini golf, go karts, and more! Just a short drive to Ogunquit Center, 20 minutes to Kennebunkport, and 30 minutes to Portland.
The property is a single family year round home, so this house can be enjoyed any season!
