The friendly locals are so keen to share their country they are so very proud of through their culture , culinary scene, world class shopping avenues, luxurious hotels, natural wonders where the sands meet the sea, their world class architecture, their stunning beaches, their exhilaration for action and adventures and feel the reassurance of staying in the worlds safest country.

I had the privilege to fly business class with Qatar Airways from Edinburgh on their direct flight which was an amazing experience in itself with service being second to none!

I visited a variety of world-class 5* hotels such as Raffles, The Ritz Carlton and the Marsa Malaz Kempinski to name but a few which were oozing in luxury and ambience as well as tasting the culinary delights from world renowned restaurants such as Nobu, Perisa and Del Mar which had spectacular offerings to suit all taste buds!

I had the pleasure of visiting the Souq Waqif which is a market place selling traditional garments, spices, handicrafts, perfumes and lots of lovely dining , the camel pen and the falcon hospital .... one of my many highlights of the trip was being able to hold an unnamed falcon who happened to be waiting for a check up in the hospital !

I also experienced " Dune Bashing" in the desert in 4x4's ... this excursion was absolutely thrilling ( I screamed a lot and maybe said some bad words ) ! Oh and the driver was the double of a certain actor so we nick named him "Prince Vin " !!!

I visited the stunning architecturally designed National Museum of Qatar and the Blue Mosque which are steeped in history.
๐ถ๐ฆ Qatar is a very compelling destination for all types of travellers whether you are stopping off here en route to another destination or looking for a luxurious city bre
The cheek of it. Our excuse is the heating isnโt the best so we need to stay warm or is it even lattes in those cups?๐ซฃ
