Patch Beach, Gwbert is just a short 4 minute drive or half hour walk away from Ty Rhos.

Patch is dog friendly all year round and our dogs LOVE it 😍
At low tide you’ve got approximately 160yards of wet sand, pebbles and lots of amazing smellies and plenty of oyster catchers, curlews, and plenty more. Followed by 500yards of soft golden sand, finishing with 400yards of stone and sand which takes you around the headland with a beautiful view out to see.

At high tide, the estuary is an ideal place for kayaking, paddle boarding and other water sports. Sit here with a tray of chips and watch the geese and ducks swim past as you enjoy the relaxing views.
