I think this announcement is going to be quite EPIC!! As soon as I know you will too!

We have been waiting (not so patiently) for more news on Universal Studios to give us more info on when their new park is going to open. We are talking dragons, monsters, Mario and Luigi, wizards and so much more!

Universal is one of my favorite places to go. Yes more than Disney believe it or not….next year will be the perfect time to go! And now is the perfect time to start planning, you will have enough time to deposit and make payments over time!

Truth or Myth? The first step in taking your dream vacation is planning every little detail before putting down your deposit.

MYTH!

Before you can start planning your excursions, meals, theme park days, or even nighttime shows and entertainment, you have to actually book your trip. To actually book your trip, you have to know what dates, flights, and hotels will work best for you. Of course, that is where we come in!

This means the *real* first step to your dream vacation is scheduling a free consultation with one of our travel specialists. If you don't want to chat on the phone, don't worry! Email works just as well. During the consultation stage, your specialist will take notes on your wishlist, budget, travel experiences, requests, and needs.

Then, they will send over a proposal, likely with a few options for you to choose from. Everything they send you is fully customizable, within reason of course. At this stage, you are welcome to request changes or choose from one of the packages they sent you in this first proposal.

Finally, once you approve the proposal, you will send in your trip profile with basic information about everyone who is traveling with you. While you will send in your credit card at this stage, please note that nothing is paid until we send you a confirmation email.

Once you get that confirmation email, it will officially be time to plan!

Because today is the first day I wasn’t able to book it in advance but you now have the option to book your rides up to a week before your trip!

Kualoa Ranch is where it's at. This experience is for the more adventurous at heart. It is always going to be my first recommendation. I have been twice and will still make it a priority to go back when I visit again. A large part of Jurassic Park was filmed here and you will see a lot of different props and sites where other movies have been filmed as well. It is a working ranch and they are so excited to share the history and the continuing efforts of preserving this beautiful valley. Words, pictures and videos do not do it justice, it is something you have to experience for yourself!

Atlantis Submarine Adventure! I am going to be 100% transparent here, I am terrified of submarines...but I was on my honeymoon and that's the one thing my husband wanted to do...so I went. I had an amazing time and after about 5 minutes I forgot I was even on a submarine! We saw sharks, turtles and tons of fish. The captain taught us all about the ecosystem and how they are working on restoring some of the reef that has been destroyed over time. It's a great experience for kids and adults!

What are your travel plans this year? Where would you go if you could go anwhere at all? If I could go anywhere...Over the water bungalow, Europe-ALL OF IT, All of the Disney parks across the world. I shortened this list up or we'd be here all day! My plans for the year so far: New Orleans in March Taking my niece and nephew back to Disney and Universal Halloween Horror Nights in September Going on an anniversary trip with my husband-we are hoping to do Las Vegas and California! A cruise-hoping for a Disney Cruise!
