Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular is the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party exclusive fireworks show, hosted by Jack Skellington. This can't-miss show has awesome features, catchy songs, and pretty projections. I also love that it has its own story built in!

It's Spooky Season! The best way to get some quality time and photos with Disney pals is to book a character meal. Minnie's Seasonal Dine at Hollywood and Vine hosts several different themed meals depending on the time of year. We found our friends dressed up for Halloween over the weekend!

Dinner at Flying Fish, one of my favorite restaurants on property! We noticed the cheese plate has changed. It's still one of the best, but the amazing brittle has been replaced with a toffee. A couple of cheeses have changed too. Thankfully the potato-chive bread has stayed the same

We had lots of visitors lately, which means lots of good food, so a little photo break from Berlin!
Tiffins at Animal Kingdom is a hidden delight! We got the cheese plate, the charcuterie plate, veal, surf and turf, and chocolate tres leches cake. Everything was exceptional! We booked a late reservation so walking out of the park was especially quiet and peaceful

We heard so much about the German version of döner kebab, we had to try it! I still prefer the Turkish version, but it was worth getting it once for the experience. Note the 2 different cutting tools lol

The Computer Games Museum made me feel super old seeing games we grew up with on display 😂 but it was pretty fun, and had a game from East Berlin on display!

There are a lot of original pieces and structures in the museum, but some need to be fortified. It's very impressive how they can reconstruct these large areas!

We did a chocolate bar making class! You chose your mix ins and chocolate base, then pour it into the mold to set. We did milk chocolate with sea salt, cashews, caramel pieces, and a bit of toasted almonds, and our other bar was milk chocolate with cereal, marshmallows, and candied almonds. While you wait for your bar to set, your guide teaches you about chocolate and the Ritter Farms in different countries

The German Spy Museum was lots of fun! They did a great job mixing educational and interactive exhibits. We ended up spending over 2 hours here.

Continuing our Turkish food tour of Berlin, I was delighted to see that there was a Mado location in the city! I haven't had Mado since 2017. They serve desserts and Maraş dondurmasi, which is a special kind of Turkish ice cream. It's actually the only chocolate ice cream I like!

We learned approximately 3 million Turks live in Germany, with the majority in Berlin. I was extremely excited for all the authentic Turkish food, and I was not disappointed!
At our first Turkish restaurant, we ordered special beyti kebap, iskender, several dips, cheese, and bread. Everything was delicious!
I can't find the restaurant tag, but this was Alay by Hasir in Mitte

We learned a lot about the Berlin wall and east and west Berlin during our trip. What surprised me most was just how close some people were to the border and they could escape through their own front doors before being forced to move. If they waited too long, they lost their chance

Our first dinner in Berlin was at Maximilian's, which was a short walk from our hotel. We got the meatballs, spaetzle, liver dumpling soup, the giant snack plate, and potato dumplings.
Everything we ate in Berlin was delicious!

We stayed in a king spa suite for the week, and it was lovely to have some space to spread out after exploring all day. The master bathroom was also amazing! A huge shower and bath tub always make me happy 😍

We stayed at The Westin Grand Berlin, which was perfect! We walked pretty much everywhere we wanted to go, and most sights were within a half hour of us. We used Free Now for taxis when we had plans further away.
At the hotel, we enjoyed the historic atmosphere and excellent service. It's close to lots of restaurants and stores, too. We highly recommend this property for your Berlin trip!

Being from NY, I am a big bagel fan. We were told that Montreal also has must-try bagels, so we ordered breakfast in. We tried an everything bagel with egg and cheese, a sesame bagel with lox and cream cheese, and a chocolate chip bagel with maple cream cheese

Started our summer vacation with a day in Montreal! We had to ride La Grande Roue de Montreal. We booked the VIP gondola, which has a see-through floor and a maximum capacity of 4.
