Only an hours drive south of Newcastle. Nestled between Barnard Castle, Bishop Auckland, Darlington and Richmond.
A short drive from the Pennines, high & low force water falls. Many local villages, farm shops and pubs. Located along the river Tees. Which is only a few minutes walk from the cottage through the church grounds.
It’s a stunning little village with a rural feel.
Dogs are more than welcome: we even supply bowls. Other pets welcome too. We have had a rabbit and a tortoise stay 😊
We have a fully stocked kitchen which can comfortably make a Sunday lunch with Le Creuset oven dishes, tea pots, jugs, salt and pepper shaker and Denby cups.
An easy to use oven, hob and microwave. And a dinning table which seats 4.
And we even supply a picnic basket and blanket.
A welcome basket of treats is also provided.
We have a spacious but cosy living area with log burning fire.
Netflix and access to other apps on the television.
A bookshelf with books, games and jigsaws.
It is one bedroom with a four poster bed and large 2 person roll top bath located in the corner of the bedroom just below the Velux windows.
To the rear of the property we have an enclosed private yard. A little sun trap. With outdoor furniture and log burner which can double up as a bbq.
Downstairs we also have a large walk in shower and toilet.
As well as a second toilet located off the upstairs bedroom.
