Up date: We bought a house, furniture and cars and moved off the boat. M/Y Betty Ann is a 1989 Vista Yachts motor Yacht. She has twin Caterpillar 3208TA 375hp Turbo Diesel engines. There are two Fullriver AGM Group 31 batteries for each engine. There are two fiberglass fuel tanks that hold 232 gallons each. Electricity is provided by a Kohler 8kw generator with a Yanmar 3 cylinder diesel engine.Th
e house battery bank is four Duracell Group 31 AGM batteries. There are 6 Sovello 195 watt solar panels on the flybridge roof. Two Outback FM60 charge controllers take care of the batteries. She has a 2000/4000 watt Micro Solar pure sine wave inverter. Shore power is 50 amps. On the bridge we have two Garmin GPSMAP 4208 chartplotters networked(NMEA2000) to a Garmin GHP Reactor Autopilot (thanks to Larry Littel). We have a Simrad RS 35 AIS VHF and Simrad RS 25 in the network. Depth Readings are provided by a Raymarine ST40. We have a brand new ACR epirb, a deLorme InReach Satellite tracker and an Inmarsat Satellite phone. Our dinghy is a West Marine RIB-350 White Hypalon rib with a Johnson 2 stroke 25 hp motor. Water is provided by a 30 gallon per hour watermaker from Cruise RO Water. There are two 100 gallon stainless steel water tanks aboard.
