Boarding my favorite ride on Earth!! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is like nothing you’ve ever been on before. I would plan an entire trip just to hop on this ride. It’s too good!!

The best part about Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay? The TapuTapu!!! Everyone receives this awesome wrist band when entering the park, and it is SO handy!!
The TapuTapu has 5 uses, starting with the TapTu Ride.
Some honest truth: I don’t usually like water parks. It seems as if all your time is spent waiting forever while dragging tubes up stairs and freezing your wet butt off!
Well, with TapTu Ride, you “tap in” to the ride you want to do, and go wait elsewhere!! So for instance, the OhNo slide had a ten minute wait. I tapped in and waited the ten minutes in the wave pool! Your TapuTapu will vibrate when it’s time to go to your ride! It’s sweet!
Use 2: TapTu Snap
There are multiple photo stops around the park and on certain attractions. Scan your TapuTapu and have your picture taken!
Use 3: TapTu Lock
Open up and lock your lockers with one tap. No need to carry around/keep up with a locker key throughout the day!
Use 4: TapTu Play
This one is FUN 🤣 There are many hidden surprises around the park. You’ll see the Volcano Bay symbol in random spots. Tap your band and see what happens! I will post a video later of some things you can do.
Last, use 5: TapTu Pay
Connect your TapuTapu to your wallet via the Universal App. Tap to pay anywhere around Volcano Bay! No need to go dig your money out to go grab a drink. Just tap!
This is just one of the reasons why Volcano Bay is superb!! ESPECIALLY the TapTu Ride!! It’s a huge perk, especially with kids. You don’t have to spend your entire day going from line to line. Fun!

Velocicoaster
We may be heading home this evening, but not before a quick 8am ride on the Velocicoaster! Ellie and I sprang out of bed at 7:40, ran to the bus and were able to walk on the ride. Resort guests get into the park one hour early so we beat most of the crowd!
If you love a thrill, this ride is IT!
