Unique & Affordable Family Friendly Rentals Is your family sick of being stuck at home? Looking for a change of scenery with high COVID precauti This page is not a marketing or for-profit.

Simply a family posting rental listings found using various rental platforms for other families/couples/etc to create long lasting memories during a not so positive time in our history. Kids, especially benefit from exploring new areas, seeing the possibilities have not ended with COVID, and these experiences will last a lifetime. With COVID I look into each locations’ advertised safety precaution

s before sharing. In my experience properties are ensuring 24 hours of vacancy prior to booking another guest, but please ask before booking. At this point (Summer 2020) all locations are within driving distance of Northern VA and are vested in taking precautions to keep their guests safe. Avoiding flights has been a personal choice and with impatient kids we won’t drive more than 9 hours from Northern VA. We’ve stayed at some personally and some are on our wish list. I love receiving your amazing finds and sharing them but this page is NOT a marketing page. You will see two different types of experiences I generally will share:

1. One to two bedroom unique rentals for my immediate family (soon to be family of five)

2. Four bedroom+ unique rentals for two families to share. All properties offer a unique experience and all will be reasonably upgraded or offer a themed decor.

One of the most unique experiences we’ve had. Literally on top of a mountain, true seclusion with indoor plumbing. The kids loved it, learned a few lessons that we will bring back with us in November when we go back. The three mile up the mountain was extremely unexpectedly rugged and took going to the grocery store a about 4 miles away an special adventure and was best done on the way back from an outing. The weather was expected to be more intense than we were hoping for so we left one night early. Can’t wait to see the trees turn colors for our next trip.
