One fantastic perk about staying on Disney property is that you never know when you might get an impromptu character interaction.

I was just hanging out entertaining my grandson, so his mommy could get a little extra sleep,when all the sudden Donald Duck, Pluto, and Goofy appeared. 

So fun!!

I’ve been at WDW during a hurricane shelter in place. The ride out crew was amazing! Made it a fun and memorable experience

I booked a cruise a year and a half ago to celebrate our anniversary and spend my birthday on the cruise ship. Instead here I am on that birthday…..enjoying the Michigan sunshine with my best gifts ever. Such a lovely day spending time studying God’s word with ladies from my church family (they even treated me to the BEST pumpkin donuts), stopped at a garage sale, had Chick Fil A for lunch, played some cards, hubby made favorite dinner and felt very loved and special. They only thing that would make the day better was if my first granddaughter would decide to come out and meet us three days “early”

One highlight of our most recent visit to Magic Kingdom was that we got to experience both newly Re-imagined attractions. We don’t like to see classics go, but…….we definitely prefer the new versions of both! My teen said that Country Bears is now a MUST do on every visit! Love the songs and the music.

Tiana’s is beautiful and I like the earthy smell they added. I still wouldn’t mind skipping the drop (I do NOT like getting wet!) but I LOVE the view right before the drop as well as the cool new fog/lighting they added on the incline.

In honor of “labor” day I will share highlights of one of my best days at ”work” lately.

My travel buddy and I landed midday, checked into our room then headed to our happy place.…..Magic Kingdom.

I will share more in later posts. But we hit some of our favorites as well as the new Country Bears show and Tiana’s. But nothing says vacation mode like enjoying not one, not two, but all three of your favorite Disney snacks for dinner while waiting for the fireworks. 🥰

Celebrating the first CHARGE syndrome awareness day!

Lightening first hit our family 23 year ago then again 11 years later. It hasn’t been easy, but we wouldn’t change it. God’s plan for our family is better than we could have done.
