I can have been a bit quiet on here lately. Thought I would hop back on and see who is still here 🤣

In honor of “labor” day I will share highlights of one of my best days at ”work” lately.

My travel buddy and I landed midday, checked into our room then headed to our happy place.…..Magic Kingdom.

I will share more in later posts. But we hit some of our favorites as well as the new Country Bears show and Tiana’s. But nothing says vacation mode like enjoying not one, not two, but all three of your favorite Disney snacks for dinner while waiting for the fireworks. 🥰

Celebrating the first CHARGE syndrome awareness day!

You don’t always have to travel too far from home to find good things to do. Venture out to your local fair and support the youth. Here is my youngest daughter tonight selling her M&M chocolate chip cookies at the 4H auction. She grew up watching her sisters sell their livestock and is following in their footsteps. I’m not sure about other states but around us they have a thing called “Add-a-bid” so if you can’t attend or bid on their projects you can still support them. Check out your local fairs! Shop and support local 😃

Another reminder to take the trip when you can because we never know what tomorrow holds! I can’t say this enough. Life is short and tomorrow is a gift not a guarantee.

So very grateful that we (me, 2 of my daughters, my grandson (and for a couple days of the trip my son-in-love joined) were able to make it to Disney and make some wonderful memories with my precious grandson. Nine days after we returned home my adult daughter fell and broke her ankle VERY badly. It’s going to be a lonnnggg recovery. My heart aches for her. It is a challenging time indeed. Physically and emotionally. She is the one who serves so it is hard to “ask” to be served. Plus they have been literally living in our living room since her surgery. I have wished many times that we had another bedroom in the main floor that they could take over to have a little reprieve from our very chaotic household (and her sometimes grumpy/stressed mama). But I am very thankful for the fantastic zero gravity lift chair we have that has been so helpful for her to use aka “live” on!

The best part is hands down all the extra time with her precious little guy, even though adding a toddler to our mix can be exhausting 🤪

Anyway continued prayer support is appreciated!

Ohmygosh! Holy cow!! Wow!!!

Ya know I’ve been in the parks a lot in the last few years. Well, I had my first celebrity sighting (when not performing or filming)!!! And my brave daughter asked for a selfie! We were all fan girl mode. Most “exciting” day we have had here 😂😂.

Thankful to be in a different stage of our family journey. So much more fun having some therapeutic time with a couple of my girls in Nana mode at Disney than spending 18 days straight day and night in the same hospital room!!

So part of my 2024 plans is declutterung.

So as I was cleaning up after the day I decided to purge some stuff. Starting with annoying Easter grass we never use and these egg decorating kits. The newest one was dated 2003 and the oldest 1999 😳😳😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Apparently we didn’t color eggs as often as I thought we would. 🤷‍♀️
