This week, we're taking a closer look at the Lincolnshire Coast. With half-term on the horizon, what could be better than a trip to the seaside? ⚓️

Our tour of the coast begins with a trip to Chapel St Leonards. Stretching for miles, the beautiful beach here is the perfect place for kids to burn off some energy; you can run, walk, cycle - even horse ride - along the golden sand.

After exploring the expansive shoreline, head to the North Sea Observatory and you can warm up with a hot chocolate - and enjoy the view from the comfort of the cafe!

Awesome. Just a gorgeous sight to see

Look what was spotted off Anderby Creek yesterday! Sightings of common dolphins like this are rare from the Lincolnshire coast, but with lots of luck (and patience!) you might get a glimpse of an occasional visitor. Bottlenose dolphins and minke whale have also been recorded, and harbour porpoises are a far more regular sight - as well as plenty of grey and common seals, of course. Look out for our special sea watching events later in the year!
