Come Stay and Enjoy...
Mark your calendar for the Ucross Arts Festival on August 28. Held in The Park at Ucross, the festivities will celebrate three of our artist-alumni.
Music will be performed by Jalan Crossland, the famed Wyoming musician who spent many summers performing on the lawn outside of the Ranch House and has experienced two residencies at Ucross. Today, he has become nationally acclaimed by audiences, critics, and his musical peers as being a premier acoustic guitarist, banjo player, singer-songwriter, and engaging showman.
The Ucross Arts Festival will also feature a reading by award-winning author Brandon Hobson (Cherokee Nation), as well as complimentary prints of a painting by acclaimed visual artist Savannah LeCornu (Tsimshian [Wolf Clan], Haida, Athabascan, Nez Perce, and First Nations Nisga’a). Brandon and Savannah were both recipients of Ucross Native American Fellowships.
Local food trucks will offer food and drink throughout the event, including Bonafide, Stoked Pizza, and Papa Bino’s.
The Ucross Arts Festival is part of Sheridan County's Celebrate the Arts weekend. Registration is free but required. There are limited tickets available, so get yours today! Ucross Foundation
