I really need to do better posting on the page - life is just crazy as can be these days.

but I was reading an article on Real ID’s today and wanted to post a link (in the comments) to the Virginia DMV regarding the Real ID and how it will affect flying even domestically beginning May 7, 2025.

I don’t want anybody to miss their travel plans or have delays by being unprepared!

anybody a plan ahead person like me?! well. i’m far more organized when it comes to vacays versus real life. but i’m working on it! lol. I love having a few trips booked at a time - cruising makes that easy since you can pay on them. if you’re local to me this could be an amazing trip for 2025 - i’m looking hard at the dates listed here. let me know if you want to start planning a trip too! could be this one or any other one!

also - grand turk and half moon cay are my most favorite ports ever. you couldn’t ask for more beautiful places to visit.

Travel Tip Tuesday

Did you know that it doesn’t cost you anything extra to use a travel agent?! You spent less time communicating with wherever you’re traveling to, it helps take the stress out of planning your adventure, and the individual companies/cruise lines pay them for their services. You have nothing to lose - let me know where you want to take your next trip!

Last week I was in Bermuda and it was so beautiful. We took a Carnival cruise out of Norfolk and had so much fun. If you haven’t been on the Magic yet I highly recommend it. It’s a beautiful ship and plenty to do!

Royal Caribbean has also dropped its vaccination requirements except for cruises to Bermuda and Canada (that’s based on their government’s rules currently)! I’ve got my eye on a cruise with them for next year and I can’t wait!

Starting September 5th, travelers who are not vaccinated can sail on almost all cruises from the U.S., except itineraries that visit Canada or Bermuda.

Travel Tip Tuesday!

I posted last week that one of the cruise lines had done away with pre-cruise covid testing. This article describes what other lines are doing to follow suit. There’s different requirements based on which line you travel with and the length of your trip (also if Bermuda is in your plans even if your trip length fits the guidelines their government still requires it) so read thru this if you’ve got an trips coming ip. I’m excited it’s one less thing to do on my quick Bimini trip!

anybody been thinking about cruising but worried about some of the hoops you have to jump through? Virgin Voyages has dropped their pre-cruise covid testing! here’s hoping the other lines do the same soon! majority still has to be vaccinated (I think you’ll see that for a while because of the regulations from the port - not necessarily the cdc or anything here) but this is one step closer to ”normalcy”. let me know if i can help you get on board to have an amazing time! 🚢

Tell me - where would you like to go on your next vacation?!

I’m so thankful for all the vacation time I have coming up. A week in the Outer Banks with family, a quick Bimini cruise - I have wanted to visit there since it was featured in an episode of shark week years ago, a girls cruise to Bermuda, and a Mexican Riviera cruise with some other friends. I hate to rush summer away but I am so ready for my adventures!
