It's been just over a year since we welcomed our first guests to Dalbeg - thank you so much to all our guests who have stayed with us and to the friends, family and local businesses who have supported our venture. Tuesday 27th end of day update.
Due to pretty stormy weather we had to close our magic carpets early this afternoon. We hope you managed to have a good time before the weather closed in.
The forecast for tomorrow is looking a lot better with lighter winds and staying dry.
Lower learners area opening at 9.30am.
Ski tickets are now sold out for tomorrow.

These are bands of showers and either side there is very little.

Boxing Day update. 8.30am.
Morning all.
Heavy snow showers at present. WSW winds of 20 -30 mph. Temperature of -1.0c at Car Park level.
The forecast is for heavy snow showers on and off throughout the day with windspeeds easing. There may be the odd sunny spell or two.
Our Lower Learners area is in great condition.
The longer range forecast looks to be staying cold and wintry. We are continuously checking other areas of the mountain and will report when things improve further up the hill.

We had a wee day out to the Highland Wildlife Park yesterday. One of our favourite day trips in the Cairngorms National Park. I don't think National Geographic will be calling me for my filming/photo skills!! The baby snow leopards are gorgeous but the wolverine is still my favourite. The Highland Wildlife Park is open every day except Christmas Day.

The iconic funicular railway at Cairngorm Mountain is on schedule to return to service in early 2023, during the winter snow sports season.

Reinstating this funicular is part of a major development scheme that will make Cairngorm Mountain a year round attraction, with significant economic benefits for the local area and for Scotland as a winter sports hotspot.
