Expolre Israel on motorcycles with me
Hi there, my name is Raz. I’m 53 years old, married and a father of two girls and 3 dogs. I live in Savyon. I have been touring Israel since I was a kid, first by foot, then in my CJ6 Jeep, and then on my Adventure bike (currently KTM ADV 1190R).
I hold a BA in finance and IT, and an MBA from IESE in Barcelona. I served in the IDF for 5 years, as a Captain, company commander in the Golan Heights, followed by 9 years in the Israeli secret service. I then turned to the business world and have been involved in the Israeli hi-tech scene for the past 20 years. At the age of 50 I decided to become a tour guide and I recently graduated. in 2020 I have established my motorcycle tour business where I can share my passion for riding bikes and for Israel with others.
Israel has so much to offer for everyone. History? Religion? Geography? this is where it actually started -Abraham, Izik, Jacob, Moses, Joshua... they all walked this land. David fought Goliath right here in the valley of Ella; Kind Solomon built the first temple on Mt. Moriah; King Herod built the second temple up on Temple Mount; Jesus did his miracles near the Sea of Galilee, and was baptized in Qasr el Yahud; The Greeks, Nabateans, Romans, Byzantine, Umayyed, Crusaders, Mamlucs, Ottomans, Brits... came and went, building and destroying and rebuilding... Caesaria was the Roman capital in Judea, Ramla was the Muslim capital, Acre was the Crusaders’... Every empire had a stronghold in the holy land. The Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth; The Golan Heights is filled with ancient volcanoes; Timna is a 6,000 years old copper mine; The Negev is filled with beautiful oasis; Ramon Crater is a unique global phenomena;
