Only 4 km from Sremski Karlovci and 16 km from Novi Sad within the National Park Fruška gora, there is a popular picnic area Stražilovo. Take a walk through this fairy-tale-like glade, take a break reading Branko Radičević's verses on the boards by the path, learn about the plants of Fruška Gora and enjoy gastronomic specialties in a log cabin with a large terrace.

regram The exhibition ‘Time and Universe’ takes us on a journey from darkness to light, chaos to cosmos, while the inspiration for it comes from the work by the great world scientist Milutin Milanković.

It will remain open throughout the European Capital of Culture title year. You can visit it in Studio M, Tuesday through Saturday, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at Studio M’s box office.

In 2022, Novi Sad becomes the European Capital of Culture, and for that occasion, the amazing celebration entitled Zeniteum :: 2022 (directed by Dragan Živadinov), begins at exactly at 20:22 o'clock. The evening is also dedicated to the great figures of Serbian culture and our city, Mileva Marić Einstein and Milutin Milanković.

You can watch the announcement ceremony on novisad2022.rs, and you can see the Zeniteum celebration, unusual exhibition Time and Universe and numerous concerts in the city live.

From August 12 until August 15, Novi Sad will host the European Mountain Biking Championship Break the circle. The race track will be located at the Petrovaradin Fortress, which is a new phenomenon compared to the previous mountain and forest tracks. 🚵‍♂‍ In this way, Serbia becomes the first country in the region to have the honour of organizing this important sports competition. 🥇 500 participants from 44 European countries are expected to compete, but all those interested who wish to contribute to the harmony that inspires and awakens all the senses are welcome. ☺
