In fact, they’re evidence of money that person no longer has.
Money you spend on stuff can’t be invested. Most of us can’t labor our way to wealth.

Allow me to reintroduce myself. I’m a Chicago-based 30-something. In my early 20’s, investing, credit, and retirement planning were completely foreign concepts. I was determined to figure it out.

Learning personal finance basics has changed my life. I’ve become obsessed.

I created Points By J to share my insights.

My biggest discovery? The language of finance sounds complicated, but the basics aren’t hard to grasp. Mastering them = possible.

I dream of having complete freedom to do what I want with my time. I dream of having the resources to experience all my bucket list destinations. I’ve established financial habits to help me get there faster.

If you have similar dreams, I hope you’ll follow along.

A few other fun facts:
I’m an oldest child.

I think pickles are gross.

I grew up in the smallest city in Michigan.

My 8 year old mutt, Nala, is the sweetest pup you’ll ever meet. Strangers often think they know her breed (it’s always something different!), but we have no clue.

The best part about making content is getting to connect with so many cool people (you all rock). The worst part? The haters that only seem to appear in my comments when a video goes viral 🤪

My husband is the lucky recipient of many points-funded trips. As payment, he often has to be a cameraman. I think it’s a fair trade. However, these pics were taken by the talented
