Well… theshoponcherry fireplace is finished, many thanks to our builder and one of my closest friends Cam, who came up with the horizontal layout for these lock rib roofing panels. I ordered this stuff in raw steel and used a concoction of black magic, vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, salt, and sugar all mixed in a w**d sprayer, sprayed it down and let them sit in the weather for about 2 months. The colors and texture that came out is absolutely perfect. The original plan was to install all panels in vertical orientation, which I did for the display shelf wall in the last pic. Thankfully Cam wanted to see that it looked like in horizontal and it worked perfectly. The small 45 degree returns on each side of the fireplace were originally going to be the same steel but it just made sense to bring down the same 6” t & g knotty alder as the ceiling as it really tied the whole project together. We’re so excited for the finishes coming together, many more super unique LBW touches coming soon and to be ready for an early spring opening!

We’re getting closer and closer with the . Hoping to get few more things done prior to the snow falling. 1. Paint front door 2. Install snow break and gutter 3. Receive and hook up hot tub. 4. Set up large decorative 1940’s naval spot light 5. wire outdoor lighting, 6. Spread 6 ton load of 5/8 crushed basalt for finish driveway grade. We are happy to have just completed the ultra efficient DIY ductless mini split multi zone ac/heat units before the cold weather. This stuff takes a ton of time, especially when you have two full time jobs, kids, hunting / fishing, and golf 😜🤣🤣

We had an amazing weekend of work. .wilcox.14 and I hammered out this chamfered I beam . I really couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The front railing should be finished up this week. We are constantly are trying to go to the next level in design and quality. Lets GO!!!

Continued progress on the landscaping for the shop on Cherry. 16” Belgard pavers will continue to the back fence. Slowly but surely.

Progress: We had to borrow the neighbors mini to break up the foot deep frozen ground, Cam and the guys are some hard damn workers for sure! Ground is level, gravel laid, rebar set. Concrete next step. Here we go! it’s gonna start to get interesting!
