Fed the squirrels at my fave spot today. They were very grateful for the peanuts. In return, I got to test out a feature on the Nikon called EFFECT. It makes the image look surreal. I love it.

My new Nikon really showed out last Saturday. I’m very late on posting the results but I have them! I can’t wait to learn all the ins and outs of the camera and put together some real work.

The best advice I could give anyone taking on any trip regardless of the activity, research, download, and keep calm. Be in the moment, make memories but be prepared! A trip runs much smoother if you know what you’re getting yourself into.

Happy National Lighthouse Day!!!! Anyone who knows me know I am a sucker for a lighthouse. I try to visit as many as I can. Hopefully, I will visit many more in the future. The incredible and important structures should be preserved for future generations at every cost. If you ever visit one, often times they have donation bins to help cover costs for restoration and preservation repairs. Please help when you can. We want them to survive through the ages.

Sundays are my days off from everything, except cleaning because I refuse to have a dirty apartment. And it’s really the only time I can do the hand scrubbing, and carpet cleaning. I have bad allergies to dust and kitty dander so I have no choice in the matter. I either clean or get rid of my cats and that’s a definite no. Lol.

Believe me, when I tell you, don't do more than you know you can handle. Going down may seem like a breeze but going back up literally feels like you're climbing the side of the mountain.
