2021 Yamaha MT-09 SP Launched YAMAHA HAD REVEALED THE 2021 MT-09 SP LAST YEAR SOMETIME IN November. This is the top-end variant of the motorcycle which gets an R1-inspired paint job, cruise control, and an improved suspension set-up.The bike makes use of an 890-cc, three-cylinder engine that puts out 115 hp at 10,000 rpm and a peak torque output of 93 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with an up/down quick-shifter. This SP variant also features a cruise control system as standard. The updated suspension set-up on the MT-09 SP comprises fully adjustable KYB inverted front forks and an Öhlins monoshock unit at the rear.There is a chance that the bike will be launched in India in the coming few months. In the US, the bike is priced at US$11,000 (Rs 8.22 lakh), making it USD$1,600 (Rs 1.20 lakh) more expensive than the standard variant. When it arrives in India, we may expect to see a price tag of around Rs11.5lakh(ex-showroom).
