I joined a beautiful company called Travelmation in March of 2020 to embrace two passions of mine: organizing vacations and Disney. I specialize in all things Disney but I am also very knowledgeable of t

he other major theme parks. In addition, I am certified in Travelmation Groups, Luxury, and Accessible Travel, Disney College of Knowledge, Universal Studios, and continue to grow my knowledge of other areas of the Travel Industry. Here are a few personal tidbits from my life:
*Walt Disney World is my unparalleled favorite because of the endless amounts of magical experiences one can have each time they go.
*Busch Gardens and Universal Studios tie for second place for my favorite theme parks.
*I have an amazing support system from the leadership at Travelmation.
*I am 27 years old, I have been with my fantastic husband John for 8 years, and we have a Border Terrier named Sawyer.
* John and I got married September 23, 2022!
*I love the mountains and the beach equally, as well as staying in my pajamas at home.

✨ Happy Mck Magical Monday! ✨
I have been quite this month as I have been sick off and on - and genuinely took a break from social media as a whole!
💙💙💙On March 20th I celebrated my 4th Travelmation anniversary (I coined the term Travelmationaversary a few years ago)! I cannot believe I am pushing into 5th year of being an agent!
I have had an incredible journey even when I have failed a few times. I have conqured many things in the past 4 years, but one thing is for certain - I LOVE my job and being able to help people make magical memories! 💕

Travelmation is many things for many people. To me, Travelmation is a place where I found the "I can" in life, found a place where being my weird and loving self is accepted and valued, found a path that fills my life with opportunities and places I never dreamed possible.
Here is my story:
For several years, I struggled with my health and getting through school. My calling and desire was to be a music educator, but auto immune diseases had other plans.
2012 I was diagnosed with PCOS
2015 I was diagnosed with Lupus & Arthritis
2019 I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease
In between these diagnosis I fought going through illness after illness, struggling with college classes, depression, difficult relationships with family and friends, and a constant fear of what if I am never good enough.
March 20, 2020 (the day the world shut down) I joined the Travelmation family with so many unknowns but was determined that despite my health issues I was going to succeed and come out on top for once. I had given so much of my heart and dreams to things I physically wasn't capable of doing. I was so tired of the same cycle of feeling empty from not accomplishing things I tried so hard to complete. Becoming a travel advisor has allowed me to be flexible when I am able to work, learn about places I didn't know existed, build relationships across the country with friends who struggle like me, and find my place in this big wide world.
Since joining, I have been able to be apart of the magic and stress relief in planning for many families. I have found my unofficial title as the Disney Dining Queen. I have recently been added to the graphics team to help our agents be able to look good and focus on the main thing, selling travel. With Travelmation, I truly have changed my story! A HUGE thank you to the bossman Adam Duckworth for believing and evolving his dream to help people see the world!

💙 Friendly PSA from your fave Travel Advisor 👋
✨ If you want to travel over Spring Break or even this Summer (March-August) start planning like, YESTERDAY 😉
✨ Pricing is up. . . everywhere. That includes all things travel. What you could get for 3k a few years ago is not available now: think double and sometimes even higher. I have zero control over pricing, and I ask that you set your expectations realistically. I’m sorry, but I don’t make the prices. 🙃
✨”Deals” are harder and harder to come by. Gambling with time to see if the price comes down may leave you with less than ideal options and/or increased pricing. Resorts and cruises are booked or sold out, and then they have no need to offer "deals".
✨Availability is already low for summer travel. This is not a scare tactic - it’s honest and based on my research for current client requests.
👉 This is busy season for our industry - your patience on our replies is SO appreciated!
💙 If you use a travel advisor (even if it’s not me) please, please, please don’t waste our time looking up trips that you aren’t sure will happen. The internet is for looking, we’re here for advising and booking. I want to help everyone, but there aren’t enough hours in the day. Please don’t ask to “pick my brain” if you have no intention of traveling or if you intend to book on your own.
I promise I’m not trying to single out anyone AND I’m doing the best I can. I know my job looks like fun. It is, and I absolutely love it. What you don’t see is the hours I spend taking care of all the smallest details, especially when something goes wrong with a client’s trip. The relationships I cultivate with our amazing suppliers helps make your vacation dreams come true. We all ask that you respect what we do, just like you would expect in your own place of employment.
