Can officially check off being in two countries at once ✅ Border line between Colombia and Panamá ⚡️

Spent the week exploring Sapzurro new and old friend alike. A bit of a trek to get here, but boy has it been worth it!

3 flights, 2 boats, 1 bus and 1 taxi ride later gets you to a literal secluded paradise in the heart of the Colombian jungle.

Sapzurro, see you soon! I can’t wait to be back 🫶🏼

HOW TO BOOK TICKETS FOR EL YUNQUE RAINFOREST 🌴🍃🌿

How it works ⬇️
🌿 Visit www.recreation.gov and search for ‘El Yunque’
🌿 Select your date & the amount of tickets

What you need to know 💡
🎟️ Tickets are $2 per car
🎟️ Max 2 cars per reservation
🎟️ Reservation is for time of entry, either 8-11am or 11am-2pm and the park closed at 5pm
🎟️ Limited tickets go out 3-4 weeks prior to the date you want to visit
🎟️ The remainder of the tickets are released the day before

If you couldn’t get tickets ahead of time, they go on sale the day before exactly at 8am and 11am, depending which time you want to enter. And they go FAST! So make sure you’re logged in and your payment method is ready to go!

That’s it! Pack your day pack with lots of water, snacks, bathing suit, towel, change of clothes, and water shoes 🎒✨

Last travel day of the year, let's go! ✈️

As I think about all the amazing AND not so great things 2022 has brought, I'm so happy to know and witness first
hand all the good people out there in the world!

Here's a lil' background info into each of these pics:

1️⃣ Thank you to the chipotle employee who gifted me with
two drinks on my order from yesterday

2️⃣ Thank you to the local RI cobbler who fixed my belt and wouldn't let me pay him for his work

Last travel day of the year, let’s go! ✈️

Little by little getting to know Catalunya’s Costa Brava a bit more ✨🫶🏼

La Costa Brava is the coastal region on Catalunya’s northeast going all the way to France’s border.

A quick 50min train ride from Barcelona’a city center day makes this the perfect day trip’s length when you’re looking to escape the city’s summer crowds.

Spend your day sunbathing near Sa Palomera, hiking to the very top of Castell de Sant Joan de Blanes, strolling through the Botanical Gardens, and enjoying a nice meal by the water.

Summers in this region are hot 🥵 so make sure you’re properly hydrated, especially if you’re planning on walking from the train to the beach like I did 🙈

No but in all seriousness, if you’ve ever wanted to visit Puerto Rico some of the best times (imo) are between march & may.

• the ocean is calmer
• before rain & hurricane season
• right after & before high season

Want an even more secluded beach holiday escape? Visit the island of Culebra.

Arrive by ferry, plane, or private charter. You’ll also need transportation, you can either rent a golf car or jeep, I highly recommend for golf cars. They’re brand new & super clean!

Sometimes in the waves of change we find out true direction 🌊

I’m not the only one that had time to think & analyze during the pandemic and last two years. One thing these last 2yrs has given us has been time. Time to reflect. Time to analyze. Time to plan. Time to change direction.

And boy have I. Many don’t know, but in May of last year my lease in Miami ended. I sold all my belongings, furniture, car, and fit everything I owned into 3 suitcases and 4 boxes. All 28yrs of life, boxed up.

I was betting on myself. I knew I wanted to travel but didn’t know what I wanted to make of it just let.

These last 10 months have reminded me what I love the most about travel. Connection. Friendships. Spontaneity. Adventure. Story telling. And I’ve been sitting on how I can do more of it, as often as possible. 🤩

Group travel. Around the world. Mixed with history, relaxation, adventure, new friendships, new cultures, & all around a good time. ✈️🌍✨

Sooooo I hope you’re as excited as I am for tius new venture! This is for solo travelers, bff trips, couples, and all that want to join!

📍 Cara del Indio

It’s a monument of the Cacique Mabodamaca, a Taíno Chief, and it marks the very entrance to Isabela.

It honors his story & history as he was the Cacique who did everything in his power to protect his people from the Spanish when they came to take over the land. Legend has it he leaped off a cliff in Isabela to escape capture from the Spanish.

Pay close attention as you’re driving to Isabela, this monument is right at the highways exit. Once you take the exit, there’s space on the right for you to park and take pictures. 🚨 Be careful though! This is the main entry & exit to Isabela so be on the lookout for traffic when crossing!!
