Disneyland Day 1 is done and I had so much fun! Lots of Pixar fest decor is up and ready for when it begins on April 26th! We even got a preview of the Together Forever firework show that will play during Pixar Fest! It was just too cute! I loved it! Pixar Fest will go till August 4th!

☂️Do you know about Jingles?! 🎠 If not keep reading…

Today is the 16th anniversary of Jingles’s coronation!
You can find Jingles on King Arthur’s Carousel in Disneyland!

Named for the beautiful, ornate bell carvings that hang across its saddle and cantle, it was said that Jingles was Walt Disney’s favorite horse and for the 50th anniversary of Disneyland back in 2005, each opening day experience was painted gold with Jingles being chosen to be covered in 18K gold leaf to represent her attraction! After the conclusion of the 50th anniversary, Jingles was dedicated to Disney Legend Julie Andrews 16 years ago today! The dedication was a way of commemorating her service as the official ambassador during the 50th anniversary and in recognition of her 44 years of service to the Walt Disney Company! She was also given a companion miniature version of the horse as well!

Jingles saddle blanket was then adorned with wonderful nods to Julie Andrew’s in the form of a JA, the images of a robin sitting on a pair of high buttoned shoes as well as Mary Poppins in flight, and the number 50 as a nod to the Happiest Homecoming on Earth! Towards both the back and front of the horse you’ll discover the talking parrot handled umbrella as well as the title honorary ambassador above a gold Disneyland “D”. A perfect tribute to an opening day experience and a Disney Legend!

🌮California Adventure’s Food and Wine Festival! 🍷

If you’re going to Disneyland any time soon and you’re a foodie you should check out California Adventure for their food and wine festival! Lots of yummy food, drinks, treats that aren’t normally in the park! You have until April 22nd to try everything!

⭐️The Sip and Savor Pass⭐️
If you plan to try a lot of the food you will want to get a Sip and Savor pass! There is an 8 voucher version and a 4 voucher version. The 8 is $61 ($56 if you’re a magic key holder) and the 4 is $31. This would be perfect to split with a friend so you both can try a little bit of everything! All you have to do is scan your sip and savor card when ordering your food!

I have the Disney Blues today! It’s always hard leaving Disney and going back to real life!

I had a blast at Disney Channel Night and going to have a little fomo tonight seeing everyone who goes to the event tonight! Still crossing my fingers they bring this event back 🤞🏻

For now I will just have to look forward to my next Disney Countdown. 44 days till Star Wars Night!

You can buy a 6 ($6.49) or 13 ($12.49) pack of chocolate chip cookies at Harbour Galley! Located right next to Haunted Mansion and the soon to be finished Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. You can mobile order the cookies or order straight from the window! I suggest mobile ordering always to save time😁
These gooey miracles do sell out frequently so make sure to get them earlier rather than later in the day just in case.

There’s just something about a warm gooey cookie that just hits the spot! These will surely do just that! Best cookie I’ve ever had at any Disney Park hands down 🙌🏻

We love a good slushie! Find this one at Edelweiss Snacks in Fantasyland in Disneyland Park.

In order to get the Mickey head on top you will need to order two different flavors! There are 4 to choose from: Wild Cherry, Blue Raspberry, Apple and Lemonade. Pick a base flavor then for your second flavor my tip is to choose the Wild cherry flavor as it holds the Mickey shape the best! Then enjoy!

✨Friday Foodie with one of my favorite treats! The Churro Toffee!! ✨

I am typically NOT a toffee person, in fact I kind of don’t like it 😬 but there is something about this churro toffee that I just LOVE so much! Its cinnamony sugar goodness and the crunch of the toffee just hits perfectly! It’s a great one to bring home to snack on even after you’ve left Disney to help with your post Disney depression❤️

🍄Friday Foodie at Universal Hollywood is at the Toadstool Cafe in Super Nintendo World🍄

This is a very popular place right now so if you are wanting to eat here you need to scan the QR code right as you enter SNW to get added to the waitlist. The waitlist does get full and you won’t be able to eat here if you wait too long to join.

I have lots of thought about Toadstool cafe.
1. It took forever even being on the waitlist you still had to wait in long lines to get in to order your food and then you have to wait as your seated for a while for them to actually bring you your food. So don’t go in starving 🤣
2. The food was just ok. Some of it better then others, some not so great.
3.The atmosphere is fun, but the waiting and the food just didn’t make it worth it in my opinion. A good one and done for us.

What we ordered:
-Super Star Lemon Squash ( good except the weird mango Stars on the top were gross )
-Yoshi’s Favorite Fruit and Veggie Salad ( I actually really liked this )
-Kids Power-Up Spaghetti Marinara ( my kids are weird so we ordered this without the marinara and they seemed to like it just fine )
-Kids Mario Mini Burger Adventure Set ( was fine nothing special, burger was a regular size and my kid liked the little figurines most about it 🤣)
-Mario Burger ( good, no big complaints here)
-Bowsers Fireball Challenge ( my husband was not a fan 😬)
-Toadstool Cheesy Garlic Knots ( probably my favorite thing here, yummy)
-Princess Peach Cupcake (good, just a cupcake nothing fantastic we all liked it though🤷🏼‍♀️)

Overall i just wasn’t impressed but it was fun to do especially since it’s the only food in Super Nintendo World but not sure if I’d go here again🤷🏼‍♀️ these are all just my personal opinions so try it for yourself and let me know what you think.

🍫Todays Friday Foodie goes to my favorite Churro! 🥜

Churros aren’t my go to treat at Disney, I like them but I just prefer other things. That is until I tried this Fluffernutter Churro! It’s so good! My favorite Churro for sure! It’s got Marshmallow fluff, peanut butter sauce and chocolate chips!! It’s a must try for sure!

You can find this one right now in California Adventure at Willie’s Churros, in front of Smokejumpers Grill. Try it and let me know what ya think!
