Hey everyone! 🙋‍♀️🙋There’s a NEW ARTICLE on our website - a complete guide and detailed itinerary of our Road Trip across the French Riviera from earlier this spring! 🗺️

These photos are a few frames that we captured in a town called , where we based ourselves for the entire duration of our trip. Maybe thats why it also happens to be our personal favourite! 🌸

Before hitting the South of France, we made a quick pitstop for just 1.5 days in Paris. Here’s a guide to some of the things we did, but the city has left us wanting to revisit it and explore more!

1. Ditch Google Maps and simply WALK!: The streets and public transportation network of Paris makes it incredibly easy to get to anywhere and everywhere in the city. 🚶‍♀️🚊 We especially loved the 16th arrondisement, not only for its gorgeousness, but it was surprisingly quiet when compared to the hustle and bustle of the rest of the city. 👌🏽

2. Indulge in French food! : The food here is exquisite to say the least. Devour the croissants, hot chocolate, and the local food 🥐☕️ to your hearts content. & were our favs!

3. Eiffel Tower (who are we kidding!) : Simply walk around the 7th arrondisement, and along the many bridges on the Seine river.

4. Seine River Cruise : A 1.5 hours ride that will leave your jaws dropping at all of the beauitful art-noveau facades and Parisian architecture. 🤩

5. Trocadéro : Across the river from the Eiffel Tower, this public plaza has some of the best uninterrupted views of the monument. We particularly loved the street performances and music here, and sat here for hours. 🎶❤️

6. Louvre Museum : Stunning, to say the least! The massive Tuileries garden in front, and the Place de la Concorde is a nice place to unwind, especially during sunset. 🌅

7. Pick a monument of your choice (there are 100s in Paris!) and dedicate a few hours to it and the areas around! :
8.
9. - We were staying close to the 4th arr, so we happened to stumble upon the Notre Dame cathedral ⛪️ , a psrt of which was under renovation especially after the unfortunate fire that took place a few years ago. Nonetheless, the area around and the energy of the place is very fun and bustling! -
10. We also visited the Arc De Triomph during our walks in the 16th arr.

These are just a few of the hundreds of things that Paris has to offer! 😯 We would recommend you to to explore the city at your own pace, and allow yourself to be surprised at every nook and corner of this city. ☺️

Our first time in Paris! 🇫🇷🤍 We briefly visited the city for two days before heading to the French Riviera in the south, and one thing we can tell for sure, is that even an entire lifetime would not be enough to fully explore Paris!

From the art noveau architecture to museums (a whopping 130 museums in the city!), galleries, and the cutest pattisseries around street corners - Paris is a complete sensory feast for art and history lovers like us!

On the other hand, it is also this very big, bustling city with considerably high poverty rates, and quite a few unclean areas - something that is often overlooked when people talk about Paris.

Having said that, we definitely hope to visit Paris once again, hopefully soon, to explore and immerse in its culture all the more. 😊

Head to our stories/highlights to follow our spring adventures in France :)

We were just cozying next to our heater thinking that our weekend had come to an end, when suddenly we noticed snow falling outside our window! ❄️🌨 We started screaming like kids completely mesmerised by the sight - a thick white blanket of snow covering our street, crisp and cold air - we just knew we had to get out and enjoy our first snowfall in London! ☃️💙

Some pictures from last month when we experienced autumn for the first time ever! 🍂🍁 It’s amazing how the same parks and streets we often visit appear so different right now with falling leaves and changing colours. The weather’s got chillier, the days are shorter…I mean, it was pretty strange to get used to the sun setting even before 4pm! 😅

If you’ve been following our stories on our page, you might remember our first 100km 🚴 cycle ride to the beautiful Seven Sisters? Well, a few weeks ago, I (Arjun) visited Seven Sisters again, BUT this time with my work friends on a 17km day hike on top of these stunning chalk cliffs! 🚶🏽‍♀️

Swipe to see some unfiltered pictures that do no justice at all to the real views 😍💙

So here’s our itinerary for 8-9 days! We spent the first half of our trip in the coastal towns 🏝, and the second half up north in the mountains 🏔

This is the second Balkan country that we are visiting (the first one was Albania), and we can confidently say that both these experiences have been so unique in their own ways! 💛

This picture was taken from our accommodation facing Sveti Stefan, a resort islet in the Adriatic coast. Head to our ‘Montenegro’ highlights on our page for more stories! 🙋‍♀️

The two most important gear on a multi-day hike are - A TENT 🏕 for shelter at night from the outside (and the Scottish midges 🪰😥!), and a good SLEEPING BAG, preferably with an under-layer of a decent R value to stay warm in those cold, rainy nights. There’s no better feeling than crashing into your tent after a long, tiring day of hike. 🚶🏽‍♀️🚶

This is us taking a little break on the West Highland Way on our first day, when we hiked around 12 miles/19 kilometers. 🥾Also, would you believe it was post-5pm when we clicked this picture? This is the best part about hiking during the spring/summer in this part of the globe, where the sun shines until really late (sometimes even until 10pm!) ☀️, giving us ample time to trek and reach our destination for the day. ⏰

So this is ALL that we took with us to survive wild camping for a week in the Scottish Highlands. (It’s another story that we ended up spending only 3 days out there!)

At the start of our trek, Arjun’s backpack weighed 17 kilograms and mine weighed about 13 kilograms! We barely took any clothes, but most of the weight was taken by our trekking, camping, and filming gear, and of course the FOOD supplies! One of the biggest learning takeaways from this trek was to pack EVEN lighter 🙈 Coz when you’re trekking for 10 hours a day, EVERY GRAM COUNTS! While we can’t reduce our camping gear, the one thing we could have done was to reduce our food supplies, and bought some later, as and when required during the trek.

Visiting the Scottish Highlands was always on our bucket list 💚 And so a few days ago, we decided to pack our bags and embark on a hiking adventure - a 96 miles/155 kilometres trek along the West Highland Way of Scotland!🚶🏽‍♀️🚶🏽‍♂️

We decided to trek for a whole week across the eastern shore of the beautiful Loch Lomond, while we wild camped in the highlands, being all self-reliant with shelter and food. 🏕We pitched our own tents, slept in there with all the rains and Scottish midges around us, cooked our own meals on our little camping stove. However, for a number of reasons we hiked only until 60 kilometres of the trek and thereby decided to end it on Day 3.

Head to our stories (Scotland Highlights) to know more about our trek, the beautiful landscapes of the Highlands, our wild camping stories, and of course the lessons that we learnt, which we hopefully can take with us onto the next adventure 😊

Which one’s your favorite from 1 to 5?

We couldn’t resist capturing almost every street corner of the countryside, especially with these colored cars parked cutely in front of these 17th century cottages! 🏡 Such a treat for the eyes 😍

Bike over Porsche, any day! 💁🏼‍♀️🚲

We have been commuting and exploring London on these rental bikes, and it has been such a delight just aimlessly wandering and getting lost in the gorgeous streets. Well, it’s more of a delight for me, because I just have to follow Arjun while he navigates on the phone in one hand, trying to balance on his bike 😆 Following the GPS while riding a bike in central London roads is no easy feat!

I think it’s time we get our own proper bikes, what say? 😉

These pictures were taken a day before we moved into our little nest in London - our moment of calm and peace 🍃 right before we got busy with setting up our humble abode.

Moving to a new country has been a beautiful journey, one that we are immensely grateful for. ❤️🙏🏽 But it also comes with its own challenges and unexplored emotions.

I (Senora) for instance never thought I would feel homesick and overwhelmed, but week 1 was such a revelation to me! Arjun on the other hand has been at ease since Day 1. 🙏🏽😊 I think it’s wonderful how different people experience different emotions in the same situation. 😊

I miss the ring of the landline phone in the kitchen - it was always my mom who called, and no one else. It was the third day here, when I broke down in a Tesco store at the animal-food aisle because it reminded me of our little cat munchkin, Zoey. 😔The shocked-me also googled “how long does homesickness last”. (PS - googling for remedies is the worst thing you can do to yourself) At times like this, it feels so much easier to give up and go back to what has always been familiar.

But come week 3, and I feel soo much more at home now 😊 Thanks to the unending care and support from my loving partner 👫❤️, our family and best friends from miles away, and our friends here in the city who have been so incredibly loving and generous. It’s the beginning of a new chapter, new experiences, and new lessons....and we welcome it all with open arms 🤗

We moved to London last morning and are immensely grateful to begin a new chapter of our lives. It’s just been two days and we are already in awe of how beautiful this city is. ❤️ The sights and sounds, the history, the infectious energy on the streets. As we settle in and slowly make this city our home, we can’t wait to share our experiences with you.

We made it to the summit of **nhill at +3200m ASL! Oooh...and that’s the mighty mountain behind us soaring at a crazy +8167m ASL!

We completed 51 kilometres over 5 days on the Ghorepani - P**n Hill - Ghandruk trek in , and here is our HONEST account of the experience 💯

1. This was PHYSICALLY the most challenging of all our treks this year. By the end of Day 2, we couldn’t feel our legs. Calf muscles hurt. Thighs hurt. Waists hurt. 🙈

2. It is COLD. Freezing cold. The highest in the afternoons were 10 degrees, evenings go down to 1 and 2, and some nights… -5 ! 🥶 We really learnt to appreciate the sun. But December is shoulder season which means most of the trek path is all to yourself. We HARDLY CAME ACROSS OTHER SOULS which was perfect. 😉

3. ACCOMMODATIONS are basic as it can get. A room with a little window, bed, pillow, thin blanket and that’s it. But you get to stay with local families which is just 🥰

4. NO HEATERS/RADIATORS. Uninsulated rooms. We slept in all our layers. Next time, we are definitely carrying thermal sleeping bags!

5. NO SHOWERS for 5 days. Few places might have small shower areas but the water will be cold - Icy glacier cold.

6. Not many western TOILETS, mostly the Asian ones where you squat and do your business (although the latter is more hygienic in our opinion). Wet wipes and tissue paper will be your best friends on the trek! 😅🍑

7. Food options are INCREDIBLE! And if you’re vegan like us, you should be least worried - Momos, Dal Bhat, Thupka, Noodle Soup, Fried Rice - you are sorted. 🍜

8. We initially thought DOWNHILL would be a breeze. But you know that feeling when you take the stairs down after a crazy leg day at the gym. Yup. That’s what Day 4 and 5 felt like over 20 kilometers! Still way better than Day 2 uphill though, haha 😅

9. The biggest REALITY CHECK is the insight into the lives of the local villagers you meet or stay with along the way. They live super simple lives with the most basic infrastructure (sometimes not even that). We have so much respect for people living in the mountains and so much more gratitude for the comfortable lives we are blessed with back home. 🙏🏾
