The success of a retreat hinges on many factors, one of the most important being the quality of the culinary experience. As a passionate foodie, it was essential for me that meals become moments of joy and sharing for everyone.
After many years in Bavaria, where they managed two BIP Gourmand – Michelin listed restaurants, Jöel & Virginie decided to settle on the stunning island of Mallorca a few years ago.
We met and I was immediately smitten. Those who know them understand how hard it is to resist their charm!
I quickly proposed that they collaborate on all our retreats, taking charge of the entire kitchen and service. My request was simple: I wanted gourmet yet healthy meals, seasonal, locally sourced, and the cherry on top: vegetarian!
For them, who had never imagined creating vegetarian menus, it was a challenge they embraced with enthusiasm and creativity, much to our delight.
