The Provincial DOH Office assisted and assessed the Roxas City Health Office to be registered as the Bakuna Center for COVID-19 on July 24, 2021 with the members of Vaccination Team namely, Dr. Lory Cahilog, Dr. Faye Besana and Ms. Angie.

The number of new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in Roxas City has gone down by 2 percent, as it average 18 new cases during the July 5-18 period from 20 cases per day on June 21-July 4. The decrease is very significant, it’s actually 44 percent lower compared to the peak of the surge last June 12 which recorded an average of 32 cases per day.

This corresponds to an average daily attack rate (ADAR) of 10.22 cases per 100,000 population and growth rate of -12.41%, classifying Roxas City as a “high-low” risk area for COVID-19 infections under General Community Quarantine status with heightened restrictions.

Roxas City Diagnostic and Laboratory Center (RCDLC) positivity rate is 32 percent over the past week, but healthcare utilization rates are considered within “moderate levels.”

Roxas City’s overall hospital bed occupancy is at 67.5 percent, ICU bed occupancy at 50 percent, and mechanical ventilator utilization at 66.67 percent.

Brgy Tiza still remained to be the barangay with highest number of new cases reported within the last 14 days with 34 cases and an average of 2.4 cases per day followed by Lanot - 23, Tanque - 17, Banica - 17 and Cagay - 15.

Brgy Punta Tabuc, Brgy III, Brgy II, Brgy XI, Brgy VI, Jumaguicjic, Adlawan and Tiza are among of the Roxas City barangays with ADAR ranging from 30 to 60 which are classified as "High Risk".

At present, Roxas City had 179 active cases in which 69 percent had an on going home quarantine and 83 percent of them are symptomatics.

In terms of Vaccination roll out, a total of 9,072 doses of vaccines has already been administered by Roxas City Health Office since March 17, 2021 to July 16 with 6,106 were inoculated with 1st Dose and 49 percent of 1st dose completed 2 doses. An average of 525 jabs ar

As of the moment, due to limited vaccine allocation, 6,657 or 4 percent of the population had their 1st Dose while only 4,063 already completed their 2nd Dose. An average 84 doses of vaccines administered daily while an average of 586 was administered weekly since March 17, 2021.

Para sa ihibalo sang tanan, as of June 18, 2021, yari ang datus sang bakuna nga NABATON kag guin-administer sang aton Roxas City Health Office.

Yara pa lang kita subong sa VACCINATION sang mga masunod:

A1 - Health Care Workers
A2 - Senior Citizens
A3 - Adult with Comorbidity ukon mga may sakit kapareho sang chronic respiratory, kidney o liver disease; hypertension; cardiovascular disease; diabetes; kag tuberculosis.

Sa kabug-usan nga 5,585 ka nabakunahan sa Roxas City, 3,951 ang naka-1st Dose samtang 1,634 ang nakabaton na sang 2nd Dose.

Mayoriya sa nabakunahan ang A1-Health Care Workers, 1,993 sa ila ang nakabaton sang 1st Dose kag 1,379 ang naka-2nd Dose.

May 985 pa lang ka A2-Senior Citizens nga naka-1st Dose na samtang 132 naman ang naka-2nd Dose.

Para sa Adult with Comorbidity, 973 diri ang nakakuha sang 1st Dose samtang 123 ang nakapa-2nd Dose.

Wala kita nagakulang sa pagpakig-angut sa natungdan nga ahensya sang gobierno nasyunal agud madugangan ang CoVid-19 Vaccine nga ila guinahatag sa aton.
